Butterprint Pyrex!

Hello, Dear Ones! Well, if you follow me you know how I love vintage Pyrex and the Butterprint pattern is certainly one of my favorites. I haven't found any pieces to add to my collection for some time now but when we were on our little short outing in Kiki I found some more! Whoopee!
For your viewing pleasure I've put all of my Butterprint Pyrex in my little kitchen hutch.
Well, after I took this snap I saw Mr. Precious' black glass case he poked in my hutch! That guy! Now if you'll look ever so closely on the middle shelf you'll see a casserole dish I found. Because of the color and the half off price ($8), I just grabbed it and didn't realize until I got home and started to wash it that is wasn't the Butterprint pattern but Snowflake, I believe. Well, it's pretty and a divided casserole so I love it too! :) Maybe another pattern collection in the future? :)
Oh, I'm so excited about these little fridgies! I did find one of the small ones before Easter and found it's twin and the larger one on our trip! Y'all this place had everything 50% off. I think I paid about $5 for each of the pieces! Thank you, Lord! :) These little fridgies just happen to have the Rooster on them and that makes them even cuter.
Then, then...look! Three of these gorgeous little Cinderella bowls! One doesn't have a lid but it shouldn't be too hard to find one! Oh, don't you just love the pattern on these pieces?
Lovely bowls make me happy. I do use a lot of my vintage Pyrex and I just bake and go to town in them but somehow I can't put these in the oven. I know they would fare just fine but I just can't do it!
I've poked down a few cute things to finish out dressing my kitchen hutch. Love my little hen on her nest. She's sitting on a turquoise Pyrex bowl. Just plain but still turquoise.
I just happened to have a little cow creamer in the same sweet color and she was thrilled to come up from the basement. She's singing a happy song, can you hear her?
I poked down a retro looking little covered bowl and a couple of little tiny butter dishes. I had some plates with a little turquoise on them and thought they looked fine here too!
I'm happy, my hutch is happy and my kitchen is happy with  my Butterprint Pyrex. Do you collect Pyrex? If you do I'd love to know what pattern you have. Lord, I could just go crazy with this stuff!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Happy (just the chorus)

Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do

  12. You have a most lovely collection of the butterprint pyrex ...looking good in your hutch. I like the color, your little cow is a prefect match. I don't have even one piece of this kind of pyrex, I have some of the clear, I don't use. My collection is of corning ware. I use it for ever thing so I have added to it over the years.

  23. Oh I love it, Shelia!
Your Butterprints are enjoying being on stage!

I just bought that same snowflake divided but mine didn't have a lid!
(You definitely got a good deal!)

I collect any blue, yellow or pink but I also have the Primary 4 piece set and one red fridgie.
I think I would keep ANY little fridgie I found cuz they are so cute but I've never found one.
The 2 I have were given to me.

  24. You know, I love this post Shelia. Not just because of the wonderful Pyrex, which looks so pretty in your cupboard. but the fact that you 1) rotate all your pretties and get it out to display and 2) that you use it. We all have basements with more china and collectible things that we can use at once but if it never makes it up the steps, why have it? So this just makes me smile because you are doing your life so "right!" Three cheers -- it's lovely!

  26. Love this, Sheila! I can't look at this pattern without thinking of my sweet mom! Today marks five years that she went on to be with Jesus and reading your post just blesses me to no end! You have certainly got a wonderful collection here and have displayed it all in such a lovely way... Mr. Precious' glasses case and all :)

  29. My Auntie had that Pyrex stuff when I was a little girl - sure reminds me of her. We had a few pieces similar in the 60s olive green back then. Wonder whatever happened to it......ok now I will have that Happy song in my head all day. So HAPPY you found more - and frugally- of your collection. I will keep my eyes open around here too for ya.

  30. If you notice some things..like some pieces missing. I swear it wasn't me!! I love your collection. I have one little lonely bowl in this same family.

  31. Funny I should see this today (I'm always late to the party), but my sweet daughter just brought me two pyrex bowls....the big one is gold with white flowers and the middle sized one is white with gold flowers...tooo cool!! And yes, I am a red, green and gold person, so they are perfect for me!
Your dishes are beautiful and the little towel with the rickrack is a perfect accompaniment!
    Be blessed,
    J
