Easter in the Bay

Hello, Dear Ones. Thank you all for popping in to see my new curtains in my previous post. I thought I would go ahead and show you some Eastering I've done in the kitchen bay window.
My new curtains are here, I've just pushed them all the way back because I just love all of the sunshine (even with the snow on the ground) pouring through the windows.
I've had this little Easter wreath for many years and since this center window seems to scream WREATH! I thought I would oblige! :)
I poked down a box, it's filled with cutlery, poked on a doily made by my granny and sprinkled it with toppings. :)
I grabbed one of my favorite pitches and poked in all of the spring tulips I could find.
It's just exploding with flowers! Faux ones, of course, and I just love that.
Oh, the sweet memories that go along with this little threesome. Outside of Austin, Texas, there are some outlet malls and Mr. Precious and I were visiting some of the shops many years ago. I spied a Pfaltzgraff shop and went in. I saw this little sweet bunny family and was oohing and awing over them. We walked away. When I got home Mr. Precious handed me a bag and inside was this little trio! I almost cried.
Here sits probably the silliest little vintage egg cup I've ever seen. I'll bet this made many little vintage children smile each morning when they ate their boiled vintage eggs.
A little collage of other things. The veggie rabbits at the top are pretty old. I spied them over 20 years ago in a catalog and had to have those. They've been very faithful and have stayed with me all this time. Some eggs and a nest finish out my little window dressing.
I hope you're all having fun and I know some of you are even out enjoying your yards and beginning to plant things. We still have snow...but one day it will be gone. Until that happens I'll just stay inside and play! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

In My Life

There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

In my life I love you more
~ sung by The Beatles
