We still have snow! It's melted here and there but the front yard is still covered!
This sled greets you as you come up on the front porch. The previous owners left this 1950s sled and how excited I was! I couldn't wait to poke things on it for Christmas time!
Well, come on in ~ it's cold outside. I'm not going to say too much as I have lots of snaps to show you so just mosey around.Well, I couldn't be silent too long! :) You haven't seen the dining room Christmased up yet. We put a white tree in here and I put my painted on the inside Christmas balls on it.
I got some new curtains and I didn't even make them! Woo hoo!
One more tiny word from me...I was decorating with my little grand children in mind and put together a nutcracker centerpiece for them. They gave me oohs and ahhs and I loved it!A few little vignettes in the kitchen.
Peeping over to the breakfast room side - yep, that's a highchair. Little Campie sits there and ooos my Christmasing! You know how I love that.
I do love my little kitchen hutch and I have the same Walmart dishes that so many of you have. I think they are so sweet. I bought mine last year or the year before, whenever they first came out but only bought service for four. Well, this year I had to buy two more place settings and they've fancied up a little more the dinner plate! The new ones have a big clump of mistletoe at the top! I did buy the trio of little bowls that go with this set! I love them! The mantel in the den.
I made this wreath years ago with the white shabby roses and hung it out here in the sun room. I just added an olden Christmas ball.
I don't really have the sun room very presentable yet but thought I would show you a few Christmasy spots.
I put my baker's rack out here. I thought about painting it white since all my wicker is white but as time goes on,, I'm leaning toward keeping it black. I covered it up with my white tureens. In this snap you can see how the windows are arched. I wanted to add some window coverings for privacy especially during the winter when the leaves are all gone, but am stumped as to what to do. I'm cheap too and don't want to spend three arms and a leg.
Well, that's my tour and I hope you've enjoyed it. I've so enjoyed all of your comments as you've watched me trying to set up our new/old house. Merry Christmas to you all, your families and God bless you. I'll see you sometime after Christmas as I enjoy this special time with my family.

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
I'll Be Home For Christmas
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
I'll be home for Christmas
You can plan on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams

I fear my holiday home tour will have to wait till between the holidays! I suspect the family and friends would rather I have their gifts wrapped and ready than a new blog post (although I did do my tree, so at least I'm in the spirit!)
