Tell It To The Rain

Hello, Dear Ones! Thank you all who visited the primping up of the outside of our new/old home. If you missed it you can see it HERE. I really don't have a room to show you today but I did want to show you a little special area in our home.
I set up a little vignette in our sunroom. It's been raining and the leaves are just falling like crazy and I loved how they were clinging to the windows out here and thought I'd show you.
It's a little blurry looking through the glass but can you see the golden leaves hanging on for dear life on the windows?
Now you can see them a little better. Aren't they gorgeous? Love maple leaves!
We also had a fence put up in the backyard so Chloe Dawn could play. Actually, Mr. Precious was dreading getting out and walking her when the cold winter hits! :) Our property line goes back a lot farther but we didn't want to clear out the woods and thought this spot would be fine.
As you can see the sun room does not have straight up and down windows. They curve and I think this makes the room looks like Noah's Ark! I do call it the ark from time to time. The outside looks like a boat! I'll show you that later. So I'm enoying the rain and hanging some pictures today.
Have a wonderful weekend and know I love you all!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Tell It To The Rain

You're crying now just like I used to cry before. (rain, rain, rain)
Turn off the tears, girl; I don't care any more.
You can save all your lies, 'cause I've heard them all
Before:
Tell it to the rain
And the stars that shine above,
That it's me you're thinking of,
And that I'm your only love--
Tell it to the rain.

I gave you love, girl, and got nothing in return.
How does it feel to feel what I had to learn?
Baby, don't say you're sorry, 'cause I'm just not
Concerned:
Tell it to the rain
And the stars that shine above,
That it's me you're thinking of,
And that I'm your only love--
Tell it to the rain.

Tell it to the rain
And the stars that shine above,
That it's me you're thinking of,
Oh, forget it, love--
Tell it to the rain.

Tell it to the rain
And the stars that shine above,
That it's me you're thinking of,
And that I'm your only love--
Tell it to the rain.

  5. You are lucky to have such a beautiful large treed lot. It's lovely and the view from the sunroom is wonderful. It will look so pretty looking out at the snow come winter too. Enjoy the weekend.

  7. What a beautiful sunroom, Shelia! I love the wood and how the windows are curved. In the winter, the sun should really warm that room nicely. I miss the maple trees of my native New England! They are my favorite. We don't have any out here in California, so I am really enjoying your pictures. Have a wonderful weekend too!

  13. A beautiful room indeed! Those arched windows are stunning. I appreciate your take on the leaves. I am not a fan of falling leaves because it announces the end of my beautiful warm weather and heralds the coming of the cold winter lol. You reminded me to look for the beauty of the season ;)

  14. Love you too!! Interesting sun room, can't wait to see the outside view and the rest of the room. There's nothing like Fall in these parts!!! That's so cute you are fascinated with the leaves on the windows.......I love a dark, brooding sky to showcase the bright foliage.....

BTW, thanks for responding to my plea for help!!! The next day, help arrived from the internet......took hours to understand, but now am running okay!!!

And how is that Chloe Dawn doing in her new surroundings?? Ciao.....xoxoxo

  16. Oh Shelia, love your ark sunroom. So much light and what great views. You can keep your eye on Chloe Dawn from your sunroom windows. Your vignette looks very pretty with the leaves clinging to your windows.

  17. Sweet Sheila, we all love you too!!!!! It is so much fun following your adventures. The pictures from your trip further north are just beautiful. Your pictures of the leaves and back yard SO remindme of the old house. I do NOT miss blowing, raking, and hauling all the leaves. 29 years of that was PLENTY for me! You will love having the fence so you don't have to walk the dog in Winter. It can be brutal out there!!! XO, Pinky
