On The Table

Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, I had to have just a couple of yardbirds with me here at The Little House. So these two won out!
I just had to set up a little vignette on the table.
My neighbor has a few rose bushes and she shares a few blooms with me from time to time! Just poked these into a little creamer.
Aren't these pretty and oh the smell is marvelous! I just love how big they've opened up. Stop and smell the roses y'all.
Isn't he handsome, so bright and beautiful?
Isn't she beautiful, all coy and flirty?
They truly love each other so I couldn't separate them.
No rhyme or reason, just a little set up on the table.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Let's Stay Together

I'm... I'm so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
Is all right with me...
'Cause you... make me feel so brand new...
And I... want to spend my life with you...

Let me say that since, baby
Since we've been together
Ooo...
Loving you forever
Is what I... need...
Let me... be the one you come running to...
I'll... never be untrue...

Ooo baby...
Let's, let's stay together...
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
Ooooo... Oooo... Yeah...
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad

Why, somebody, why people break-up
Ohhh, turn around and make-up
I just can't deceive
You'd... never do that to me... (would you, baby?)
Stayin' around you is all I see

(Here's what I want us to do)

Let's, we oughta stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad... Come on

Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
And if you mess with me, you can't set me free

Woman let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
And if you mess with me, you can't set me free

Woman let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
And if you mess with me, oh woman, don't go away

Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
And if you do me wrong, I just might leave you alone

I was a bad girl and purchased another yard bird. I named him in honor of the 4th of July, so stop by and meet him.
    Have a great week Shelia.

  14. Shelia,
Your yard birds are so pretty - I'm glad you didn't split them up, they are made for each other. And this rose picture is gorgeous! Your neighbor has some nice looking roses. I like pink roses so much.....almost as much as red. Aahh, this Al Green song I used to listen to all the time when I was younger. It brings back sweet memories for me.

Have a happy week ahead, Shelia.

    love,
    ~Sheri
