Well, you know how it is...things don't stay the same too long around our homes. I thought I'd do something different to my lawyer bookshelves in the breakfast room. I have kept my cookbooks in this forever. I took them out and thought ~ what can I put in there?
I gathered up some Jadeite, Fire King and a little Pyrex and poked them all in there.
I like how it turned out, do you? Well, it's kinda hard to get a good snap through the glass ~ the glare, you know.
So I opened up all of the doors so you could see my stuff better.
I always have to start at the top. My tiny little lamp always stays here. I brought over my new/olden scale and added a couple of yard birds. Oh, they were happy to get out!
I've been picking up pieces of Jadeite every chance I get and here lately I've been getting the chance!
I found some measuring cups!! Yip Yip! And, a D handled mug. I've learned there are D handled mugs and C handled ones! Hmmm....must find some more. I know it looks all dusty inside the cabinet but it's not because I just dusted it when it was empty. It's just very olden. I probably need to add some light colored covered board to the back to brighten it up a bit. Painting is a no no ~ Mr. Precious would cut my tiny head off if I touched this with a paint brush.
Okie dokie! Just a little change and I kinda like it! Well, for now, you know how it is. :)
I also wanted to tell you I'll be taking a couple of weeks off because I'm going to see these little ones...
We're going to spend Easter with Carter and Camp! I'm so excited I just about can't stand it! So...I won't be posting but if I get the chance I'll be popping in to see you! I want to wish you all a very blessed Easter now in advance!!
You are all my bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
They Could Not
They looked at Him and saw a single man
A carpenter with healing in His hands
They saw Him calm a sea and heal a dying man
They saw but could they really understand
They could not, They could not
Though they tried, they could not
He was just a simple carpenter but with healing in His hands
But could they really understand, they could not
They listened to the teaching that they heard
They wondered at the mystery of His word
They wondered what He meant, about a Father's plan
They heard but could they really understand
They could not, They could not
Though they tried, they could not
They listened to the teaching about a Father's plan
But could they really understand, they could not
So finally upon a rugged cross
They killed the man who would not suffer loss
And when at last they took what willingly He gave
He died, but could they keep Him in the grave
They could not, They could not
Praise God, they could not
And when at last they took from Him what willingly He gave
Could they keep Him in the grave, could they keep Him in the grave,
Could they keep Him in the grave...
They could not, They could not
Praise God, they could not
And when at last they took from Him what willingly He gave
Could they keep Him in the grave, could they keep Him in the grave,
Could they keep Him in the grave, They could not
A carpenter with healing in His hands
They saw Him calm a sea and heal a dying man
They saw but could they really understand
They could not, They could not
Though they tried, they could not
He was just a simple carpenter but with healing in His hands
But could they really understand, they could not
They listened to the teaching that they heard
They wondered at the mystery of His word
They wondered what He meant, about a Father's plan
They heard but could they really understand
They could not, They could not
Though they tried, they could not
They listened to the teaching about a Father's plan
But could they really understand, they could not
So finally upon a rugged cross
They killed the man who would not suffer loss
And when at last they took what willingly He gave
He died, but could they keep Him in the grave
They could not, They could not
Praise God, they could not
And when at last they took from Him what willingly He gave
Could they keep Him in the grave, could they keep Him in the grave,
Could they keep Him in the grave...
They could not, They could not
Praise God, they could not
And when at last they took from Him what willingly He gave
Could they keep Him in the grave, could they keep Him in the grave,
Could they keep Him in the grave, They could not
