Day 3 - A Cow A Day

Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, here we are at day 3 of A Cow A Day and I'm happy to introduce you to...
Cow Creamers, Note Songs
Anika! She is a very olden cow creamer and was made in Czechoslovakia. Mr. Precious and I were blessed to visit the Czech Republic a few years back but I was interested in finding matryoshka dolls, nesting dolls, as I collect those too. Well, I'm getting off the subject of Anika.
Cow Creamers, Note Songs
Anika is a more realistic looking cow, isn't she? I did a little research online and found that these cows were made in the 1930s. So yes, Anika is a very olden gal.
Cow Creamers, Note Songs
A little blurry here but she has a sweet little face and looks so very wise. If only she would tell me some stories about her past but she is not talking!
Her little tail is the handle. Now Anika looks as if she has been used a lot. She is in great condition but the handle looks like lots of fingers have held it to pour milk into their tea cups as the shiny has worn off.
Cow Creamers, Note Songs
I'm so glad you've popped in to meet Anika my blonde Czechoslovakian olden cow creamer. I'm sure she will keep my other younger cow creamers in line.

Come back tomorrow for another cow creamer. Are you enjoying seeing my cow creamers? I certainly hope so because I'm having a ball showing them to you.

If you've missed the previous days of cow creamers you can just click below:

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

I love Anika, Shelia. Can you tell I am up at a beastly hour? I woke up, couldn't go back to sleep, and signed in to meet Anika.

    I love these creamers!

Sheila... Excuse typos... IPAD spelled a word wrong four times on Laura's blog. ;-)

  5. Ok, now besides the original with the bell, this one is my favorite of your cow creamers. I tend to go for the more realistic looking too. I love that she has a history, meaning she was not merely put on a shelf, but actually put to good use. But, maybe now she has earned her keep and can be treasured up on a shelf in a protective cupboard. Can't wait to see tomorrow's!

When I was little a family friend had us over for coffee often and I loved pouring the milk for eeveryone because it came out of the cows mouth. lol As an adult I saw my white cow and had to purchase it. I also have a rooser and a chick. This was a fun post Grace xoox
