I Was So Moo-ved!

Hello Dear Ones!
Oh, I'm so excited to share with you today something I found!
Is this just the cutest little cow creamer you've ever seen in all of your born days?
I thought it was time I got out and take a peek in some thifty shops.
I saw this little cow creamer and just fell head over heals in love.
Look at that precious hand painted face!
She sings constantly too. I love that. :)
She even has a bell at her neck.
And she has the cutest little cow bum!! :)
My roses are on their last leg so I pulled off the spent petals and poked a couple into her opening.
I love it and poking roses in are much prettier than poking in milk.
Have I told you I'm in love!!??!!
I was visiting my friend Kimmie at Savvy Southern Style and there in her vignette, staring at me with those little hand painted eyes was the same little cow creamer!!!
I squealed with delight! This gal and her cousins must get around.
She wanted to take a ride and my little red truck was perfect.
Now, I'm waiting til the cow comes home!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Milk Cow Blues

Well I woke up this mornin', looked out my door
I can tell my milk cow, could tell by the way she lows
So if you see my milk cow, won't you drive her on home
Cause I ain't had no milk and butter, since my cow's been gone

Now you gotta treat me right, baby
Day by day
Get out your little prayer book
Get down on your knees and pray
Cause you gonna need, you gonna need my help someday
And you goin' to be sorry, that you treated me this way

Well I said sail, sail on
I said sail on pretty gal, sail on
Well I said sail, sail on
I said sail on pretty gal, sail on
You're gonna keep right on sailing
Until you lose your happy home
(Let me hear you make it)

Well I tried everything little woman, to get along with you
Now I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna do
Gon' quit my cryin', leave you alone
If you don't think I'm leavin'
You can just count the days I'm gone
Cause you ain't gonna see me
You ain't gonna see my sweet face no more

And you goin' to be wondering
Where in this world I'm gone
Milk Cow Blues

  32. Shelia,
Your adorable cow creamer reminds me of the Borden commercial of my Youth.
"Daisy" ( I think) always wore a huge daisy as her cow collar.
    Great treasure find!
    Fondly,

  36. Hello Shelia,

I'm so glad I stopped by. I used to have a cow creamer. It was white with brown spots and whenever I was sick, my mom would put milk for my cereal inside to make my meal a bit more pleasant. (Yes, I had a wonderful mom!)

  37. Hi Shelia,

This is the cutest cow creamer!! I love that her mouth is open like she's "Mooing" and I can't believe she has a real bell around her neck. I've never seen a creamer this cute. I have two cow creamers, but they're not as interesting as yours. :) Putting roses inside is a good idea for the week of Valentine's.

Thanks for sharing with us. Visiting from Amaze Me Monday -- have a wonderful day!!

  39. Love your cow creamer and your roses! They are still beautiful! My Dad use to sing that song. When we four girls were little, he'd dance with us and sing to us. I remember that song with such sweet memories!
