Decorating the Christmas Tree

Hello, Dear Ones.
Well, I have my tree up and decorated!
Yay!

We always put the 9' tree in our 2 story entry right by the stairs.
I've always thought ~ this house was built for the Christmas tree spot. :)
I poked an olden angel on top of the tree this year instead of an explosion.
I don't think you can tell, but her right wing is gone!
She seems okay with that so I am too.
For the last couple of years I've used Deco Mesh on my tree. I really do love that stuff but just didn't want to use it this year. So I just poked every Christmas ball I could unwrap on my tree and some gold beaded garland.
No special color. No special theme. Just a tall tree with lots of colorful balls on it.
Had to show you a snap with the lights turned off.
Now I'm laying down on the floor pointing my camera up at my tree.
You believe that, right? ;)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Deck The Halls With Boughs of Holly

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis' the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Troll teh ancient Christmas Carol,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Teachers measure with the rulers,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yuletide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fast away the old year passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la
~ sung by my tree

What a lovely tree! And I thought my tree was tall!
I only had a themed tree once. That was fun but I think all my other ornaments were lonely. :(

Taken from the floor? Yes, I believe we bloggers would hang from the ceiling to get a good pic!

  18. So pretty Shelia! I haven't used the deco mesh yet. It will go out of vogue the minute I try- I guarantee it!! Ha ha! I did the same thing with my ornaments. I put all my favorites up and didn't worry so much about a theme of coloring. Your Angel looks fine (wing and all)! I think you are right- the home was built for the Christmas tree spot!
