A Tilda Love Story

Dear Ones, I wanted to tell you that Kathryn at The Dedicated House featured my little baby doll I made for my granddaughter at her party for Make It Pretty Monday! I'm so excited and thrilled! Thank you so much, Kathryn

The Beginning...
Once upon a time there was a young girl with a sweet and happy disposition who loved her family and her stuffies.
She was a pretty young thing with long blond hair and blue eyes.
She loved to shop for pretty clothes and dressed most fashionably.
While attending college she met a boy and their hearts felt like it was love!
He was a good looking young man.
He cared about his appearance and dressed very nicely.
He loved to shop for shoes so the young man and young lady shopped a lot.
They were in love and made a striking couple.
Everyone who saw them saw the glow of love in their eyes.
After about a year of engagement they married.
They had a wonderful life and moved to Santa Barbara, California and then to England for two years.
They moved back to the states and after 13 years of marriage...
They had a little girl and named her Carter!
Carter was a doll and looked just like her grandmother! :)
The stuffies were passed down to Carter too.
She had pretty blonde hair and blue eyes.
The time came for her to wear 'big girl panties'.
She was so proud she was a 'big girl' she would show them to you!
In three years another blessing came into this family ...
Sweet Pea!
(a disclaimer: Sweet Pea won't be here officially until October)

And that's my Tilda love story.

I haven't been around much this week as you can see I've been Tildaing!
I'm giving these dolls to my daughter when Sweet Pea is born and couldn't wait to share them with you!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

The First, The Last, My Everything

The first, the last, my everything
And the answer to all my dreams
You're my sun, my moon, my guiding star
My kind of wonderful, that's what you are
I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
You're all I'm living for
Your love I'll keep for evermore
You're the first, your the last, my everything

And with you I've found so many things
A love so new only you could bring
Can't you see it's you
You make me feel this way
You're like a fresh morning dew on a brand new day
I see so many ways that I
Can love you till the day I die
You're my reality, yet I'm lost in a-a-a a dream
You're the first, the last, my everything

I know there's only, only one like you
There's no way they could have made two
Girl you're my reality
But I'm lost in a-a-a a dream
You're the first, you're the last, my everything
~ sung by Barry White
