Hello Dear Ones!
Well, I was in the kitchen and thought I'd do some piddlin'.
I grabbed my olden rolling pins, grabbed this old basket...
you know how it goes and this little vignette was born.
There's just something about these olden wooden colored rolling pin handles
that make my tiny heart sing! La la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I popped open the door on a cabinet and this little hen and chicks hopped out into my hand.
She is just one of my favorite little vases.
I love the soft colors on her and her babies.
See how sweet she is?
I also grabbed my Rooster tea towel and a little egg and I was on a roll.
Egg. Roll. Did you get my pun? I just amaze myself sometimes! :)
To complete my little vignette I poked in this little darling Rooster pitcher and filled it with these little green handled butter knives and I was done!
I really do just love my olden things and fixed up my vignette to look like an olden photo.
I want to tell you all how very much I appreciate you.
I appreciate your friendship and I appreciate your comments on my blog and your emails.
I have had some comments and emails that you like my snaps and you think I'm a good photographer! Oh, my goodness! This makes me so happy as I really do strive my hardest to take good snaps. So I'm in 'snap' heaven right now.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
I love you.
You are all a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Thank You For Loving Me
It's hard for me to say the things
I want to say sometimes
There's no one here but you and me
And that broken old street light
Lock the doors
We'll leave the world outside
All I've got to give to you
Are these five words tonight
Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
For parting my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
I never knew I had a dream
Until that dream was you
When I look into your eyes
The sky's a different blue
Cross my heart
I wear no disguise
If I tried, you'd make believe
That you believed my lies
Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
For parting my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
You pick me up when I fall down
You ring the bell before they count me out
If I was drowning you would part the sea
And risk your own life to rescue me
Lock the doors
We'll leave the world outside
All I've got to give to you
Are these five words tonight
Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
You parted my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
When I couldn't fly
Oh, you gave me wings
You parted my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
I want to say sometimes
There's no one here but you and me
And that broken old street light
Lock the doors
We'll leave the world outside
All I've got to give to you
Are these five words tonight
Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
For parting my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
I never knew I had a dream
Until that dream was you
When I look into your eyes
The sky's a different blue
Cross my heart
I wear no disguise
If I tried, you'd make believe
That you believed my lies
Thank you for loving me
For being my eyes
When I couldn't see
For parting my lips
When I couldn't breathe
Thank you for loving me
You pick me up when I fall down
You ring the bell before they count me out
If I was drowning you would part the sea
And risk your own life to rescue me

ReplyDeleteI love that vignette. I would love to own those rolling pins, the color would fit perfect in my kitchen. I have a favor to ask. I moved to Wordpress and it seems I am not updating in bloggers blog rolls. Would you mind deleting me and reenter my URL. It didn't change but still seems to need a jump start.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Please stop by and let me know if the change took place.

Oh that is a perfect little vignette for me to enjoy. I love the rolling pounds, aren't they adorable? I have a soft spot in my heart for chickens, too. So much so, that I even have some in my back yard! Maybe I should go change up my country to devote today. Thanks for the inspiration.
