Hello, Dear Ones!
I've gotten all my dirty clothes washed up and wanted to share with you a little about our trip to see our little Carter.
We flew to New York City and then took Amtrak the rest of the way.
We love riding trains and this time we got our own little private room.
That's the way to go, y'all!
Here sits Mr. Precious loving this.
And me! As you can see it doesn't take much to make me happy! ;)
All of these little conveniences were in our tiny room.
Going first class we got a very nice steak dinner in the dining car.
It was really good too.
Look at Mr. Precious and me. Who needs a tan, ya'll? :)
This little Pinkness was the reason for our visit.
Well, we were anxious to see our daughter who has little Sweet Pea in her tummy.
Oh, we couldn't leave out our son in law and grand dog.
I brought her this little princess outfit as she called it.
I also brought Carter some little gifts so I could give her a Special Surprise each morning.
This little Pinkness makes my heart turn summer salts.
I taught Carter how to draw some birds, cats and dogs.
Pink Princesses can play with little Special Surprise cars.
And create masterpieces too!
Nothing like little Pink Princesses playing with cars to make a Grandma's heart skip a few beats!
I'll share a little more with you later.
Now I have to tell you that I started another blog about our little RV, Kiki.
It's called 'You, Me and Little Kiki'.
I'd love it if you would pop over sometimes and join me as I share some of our adventures as we learn to go RVing!

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Be My Baby
The night we met I knew I needed you so
And if I had the chance I'd never let you go
So won't you say you love me? I'll make you so proud of me
We'll make 'em turn their heads every place we go
So won't you, please?
(Be my, be my baby)
Be my little baby
(My one and only baby)
Say you'll be my darlin'
(Be my, be my baby)
Be my baby now
(My one and only baby)
Whoa oh oh oh
I'll make you happy, baby, just wait and see
For every kiss you give me, I'll give you three
Oh, since the day I saw you, I have been waiting for you
You know I will adore you 'til eternity

What a darling Carter is ... so looks like you, Shelia. Looks like a fun trip ... haven't used a train in years but love the leisurely ride. Then this year I took the train twice & remembered all our childhood rides & relaxation ... ahhhh, memories.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely 4th.

How fun to take the train. Never been on a real one just the amusement park kind. Carter is so cute and I know you enjoyed your time with her.
ReplyDeleteShelia your little Carter is a doll baby. I love that outfit...Princess and Flamingos! What a fun trip, I want to take a train somewhere with my Tiger boy. I love those pictures of you with your granddaughter, Shelia! You'll have to frame those and keep them where you can see them every day. Mine is currently visiting in NY for a week {and we just got back from our son's college graduation}. I get through the times they are away by constantly looking at her pictures. Love the little private compartment on the train. It looks quite comfy actually and I like that you had your own bathroom. : )
ReplyDeletethat lil cute makes me smile..

ReplyDeleteI love the train - my honeymoon was on a train in a compartment from Pasadena to Chicago, Il. We had a great time. Everyone knew we were just married and would send drinks over when we were in the dining car - what fun we had.
Love your motor home - what a great size. i think I could handle one of those. Love your new blog.
Enjoy your visit with your daughter and family.
