Reunited

Hello, Dear Ones!
Do you remember when I found these little pink darlings a while back?
If you'd like to check out that post just click HERE.

Well...guess what?

I found their mother!
Oh, joyness! Oh, happiness!
The Goosberry Pink Pyrex family has been reunited.
Well, there's no Daddy, but that's okay.

All the Gooseberries were so happy
and they wanted to go to town working in the kitchen immediately.
Strawberries were happy to oblige!
Isn't this a sweet little ole pattern?
Nothing is making me happier at the moment than my old Pyrex Gooseberry Pink bowls.

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Reunited

I was a fool to ever leave your side
Me minus you is such a lonely ride
The breakup we had has made me lonesome and sad I realize
I love you 'cause I want you bad, hey, hey
I spent the ev'ning with the radio
Regret the moment that I let you go
Our quarrel was such a way of learnin' so much
I know now that I love you 'cause I need your touch, hey, hey

Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited 'cause we're reunited, hey, hey

I sat here starin' at the same old wall
Came back to life just when I got your call
I wished I could climb right through the telephone line
And give you what you want so you will still be mine, hey, hey

I can't go cheatin', honey, I can't play I found it very hard to stay away
As we reminisce on precious moments like this
I'm glad we're back together 'cause I missed your kiss, hey, hey

Yeah, yeah, yeah Ba-a-a-by

Lover, lover, this is solid love And you're exactly what I'm dreamin' of
All through the day And all through the night
I'll give you all the love I have with all my might, hey, hey

  4. Oh Shelia, if there was anything to make me not like you this would be it! YOU ARE KIDDING!!! I LOVE any pink Pyrex and here you have lucked into the cream of the crop! I salivate over those on ebay but they are always too expensive and even more so here at an antique shop here. Well, I will enjoy yours I suppose and try to fight the jealousy, lol. Gorgeous, gorgeous!!

  25. Hi Shelia,
That IS a cute pattern! I've never seen that one before. I have some orangy yellow colored ones with some kind of pattern on them, flowers maybe? But those gooseberries are wonderful. The red strawberries look beautiful with it.
    Have a great weekend,

  31. It's funny how we had these in Mom's kitchen, and now they're a collectable! I saw a set in an "antique" store, and couldn't believe they wanted over a hundred for the set of 3! If I'd only known, they wouldn't have gone into a garage sale! A great set Shelia!

  32. I had to come back and look again. I just love the STRAWBERRIES with the pink pyrex! Way to cute. I think I need to go buy some strawberries!

  33. Hi Shelia, Oh you lucky girl. I adore the pattern too. Reunited is the perfect song title for your lovely bowls. Your strawberries are perfectly wonderful. Do you get them at a farmers market? We have been eating lots of strawberries here in the mountains as they are in season. I have never tasted better strawberries then the crop this year. We have had lots of rain so maybe that is the reason. What did you make with all those strawberries? I have even frozen some for the week we have the grands and our daughters. We are making strawberry preserves. YUM!

Wishing you a happy pink Sat. and Father's Day weekend.
    love, Jeanne
