Green Green

Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, I'm seeming to just love everything green at the moment.
The beautiful green in the lawn, the green leaves on my trees and in this little kitchen vignette!

I'm featuring this gorgeous green pitcher that was my mothers.
I'm taking care of it for her.
She had it poked on top of her kitchen cabinets and I've always admired it so I've brought it down to eye level. Maybe not your eye level, Dear Ones, but I'm under 5 feet tall so this works for me!

Well, I decided I'd try to find out about this pitcher and found this on Ebay!
Isn't that just amazing?
Now I apologize, as I've tried to go back and find the source and I couldn't.
Maybe someone has bought it.
Anyway, it's a treasure to me even without the glasses.

 Moving on with my vignette.
You must know if it's in my kitchen, there's probably a Rooster poked in somewhere.
This is a glass one and the top part comes off.
He's a looker, isn't he?

Love my little green platter there in the background.
There's rabbits on the edges but they work well with Roosters.
I just had to poke in my swirly Jadeite bowl filled will lemons.
I'm on the lookout for another one.

I wish you all a wonderful week!

Oh, I wanted to thank Cindy for feauturing my post on The Finn from last week's party!
Thank you, sweet Cindy

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Green Green

Green, green,
It's green they say,
On the far side of the hill.
Green, green,
I'm going away to where
The grass is greener still.

A-well, I told my mama
On the day I was born,
Don't you cry
When you see I'm gone.

You know there ain't no woman
Gonna settle me down.
I just gotta be traveling on,
A-singing...

Nah, there ain't nobody
In this whole wide world
Gonna tell me how to spend my time.
I'm just a good loving rambling man,
Say, buddy, can you spare me a dime?
Hear me crying, it's a...

 Yeah, I don't care
When the sun goes down,
Where I lay my weary head.
Green, green valley or rocky road,
It's there I'm gonna make my bed.
Easy, now...

Green, green,
It's green they say,
On the far side of the hill.
Green, green,
I'm going away to where
The grass is greener still.
