A picture showing fashion: an illustration showing a style of clothing, especially a current or new fashion
Okie Dokie!

Be a bunch of sweeties,

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music
The hills are alive with the sound of music,
With songs they have sung for a thousand years.
The hills fill my heart with the sound of music.
My heart wants to sing every song it hears.
My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds
That rise from the lake to the trees.
My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies from
A church on a breeze,
To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over
Stones on it's way,
To sing through the night like a lark who is
Learning to pray.
I go to the hills when my heart is lonely.
I know I will hear what i've heard before.
My heart will be blessed with the sound of music.
And I'll sing once more.
~ sung by Julie Andrews
I love every single image in this post, Shelia. Would you mind if I copied and printed out a few of the golden oldies to use in some collages? They'd be perfect for what I'm thinking about!

What Fashion Plates!! I love all the pictures. Grace xoox
ReplyDeleteShelia, this post is quite brilliant and terribly clever. It should be awarded the Most Original Post ever. Now let's see, whenever I'm presented with a selection of something (usually chocolates) I love to select a favourite so..... out of this juicy lot my favourite is....Betty Davis Eyes-Kim Carnes with, Garden Party-Ricky Nelson following closely behind! But the cleverest wording for the plate goes to.....Walk like an Egyptian!
ReplyDeleteThis is the most enjoyable post I've read over my early morning coffee!
Hugs
Rose
