My Easter Table

Hello, Dear Ones!
Well, I've been working on my Easter table
and thought I would share it with you today.

Look what I hung on my chandy!
Darling little Easter eggs.
I should have looked for some of those hanging thingys and then the eggs would have shown up a little better because they would have been lower than the crystals.
Oh well...maybe next year.

For your viewing enjoyment...sweetie pinkie egg!
I love this stuff.
I've used a tablecloth I picked up on one of our cruises.
I think I found this in the Bahamas.
It's very sheer so I layered it over a white tablecloth.

Now not to waste a good thing, I've brought down one of my Easter decorated tureens from the silverware box and I'm using it for my centerpiece.
Just gotta love a faux egg in a ladel!
You all know how talented I am! ;)
There's that little Bunny Foo Foo peeping out from among the fauxs!
So cute!
 An artsy shot! :)
I'm tellin' ya!
Okie dokie. I've used my Butterfly Meadows dishes. I've seen so many of these around blogland here lately. They just scream from the mountain tops, "SPRING!"
Well, maybe from the tabletops! :)
I had the perfect little Easter egg napkins!
Just waiting for a hot roll and a dab of buttah! :)
I have a couple of medium sized veggie bowls and they'll be filled with something yummy soon.
Salt and peppers.
This is a little Butterfly Meadows Bunny Foo Foo.
Maybe she's a sugar bowl or candy dish.
Shoot! I don't care, I love her.
 Speaking of candy...

 Pastel M & Ms.
Some pretty pink goblets I've had for years.
If you pop in very often, you've seen this precious little dish!
Bunny Foo Foos just make me smile!
That's my Easter table.
It will only be Mother, Mr. Precious and me.
But I've set an extra place for Jesus since Easter is all about Him.
Have a very blessed Easter!

I'm joining Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

I Will Rise
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"

And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
~ sung by Chris Tomlin

  18. Your hard work has paid off; it is gorgeous. I love the bunnies and the dishes are just beautiful. I think I may have to start hanging my Easter eggs from above, too so Audrey won't get into them. The whole room is lovely and so inviting for Easter dinner. Have a blessed Easter and enjoy having your mom there. I would give anything to have mine join us. "Happy Easter, Shelia" hugs, Deb

  36. Shelia, I can't tell you how much I have learned from this post. My dining room is in the same shades, but I see I need a darker shade of gold on the walls, and MORE PLATES as well! I have always shunned silk flowers, but I now see it is because I don't know how to use them correctly. There are such horrible arrangements in the store, but yours is absolutely breathtaking! I have the most lovely heirloom dishes, I will have to take a photo. You remind me always of my love of beauty, and I need to celebrate it more in my life. Wishing your a blessed and glorious Easter! 44. Hi Shelia, Thank you for your PS visit today. I had a terrible time posting today because our service was on snail time. When I read it tonight I realized I had to correct the spelling of your name in 3 places. Yikes. I will send you copies of the tag you made for me. I really love your sweet tag so much.

Your table is gorgeous. I love the beautiful dishes and the wonderful tablecloth. Your many Easter touches make your tablescape especially beautiful and whimsical as well. You are a table setting artist. Smile! I mean it. I will be setting mine tomorrow. My cousin Marilyn and her hubs are here and my sister's guy is alone so I will invite him too. My sisters are in Texas for an Antique show called Roundtop. Five people at my 9 ft. table is a problem for setting a pretty table. I'll do my best.

Wishing a wonderful Easter to you and your sweet hubs and mother.
    Blessings and love.

Lovely, gracious, beautiful, and welcoming are just a few of the adjectives to describe your welcoming
Easter table. It is such a treat for me when I really
"see," and "feel," through writings and photography what the intent is!
    You made my morning!
Now, I am off to buy some groceries for my Easter dinner!
