Hello, Dear Ones!
I'm so excited to be joining Rhoda for her Holiday Home/Vignettes today!
I'm bringing you into my tiny kitchen to show you how I've Christmased up.
I'll start in this little corner. I just love setting up vignettes in my kitchen corners.
This wonderful Jadeite bowl is so special to me.
I've wanted one for over a year after seeing one filled with vintage cookie cutters
at Debbies blog - Debbie Dabble. Well, I found one after searching and searching!
I poked it full with pinecones, a couple cinnamon sticks and berries!
This is a new collection of vintage cookie cutters I've started.
I had ones from my childhood and my children's childhoods, packed them up and sent them to my daughter so she could have them for my little granddaughter, Carter.
I poked down this green platter, I know, I know it has bunnies, but bunnies love Christmas too!
I added some faux berries and this corner was almost done.
I bring out this little cruel embroidery each year.
My most tiny dainty talented fingers needled this many years ago in the 1970s.
I found this darling little Christmas ornament at an after Christmas sale and knew I must have it as it would be perfect in my kitchen. See the cute little tree cookie cutters? :)
I love this stuff.
Now on to my other kitchen corner.
It has snowed here as you can see! :)
Snowballs and snowmen are everywhere and in the back a joyous Christmas tray.
I few little icy cold spreaders in a little tarnished silver cup.
Noting like a tiny little snowglobe with a tiny little snowman poked inside.
Now we'll schooch over a bit and here is another vignette using my olden scale.
Cute little Santie salt and peppers.
And...I must always have a Rooster somewhere and this one is sporting a lovely berry wreath.
Last but not least I wanted to show you my little kitchen Christmas tree.
It's sitting here on my countertop but now it's atop of my fridge.
It's covered with cookies and baking things.
Hope you've enjoyed visiting my tiny little kitchen and make sure you
pop on over to Rhoda's to see lots of Christmas inspirations!
Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
The Twelve Days of Christmas

ReplyDeleteMy kitchen vignettes consist of a naughty orange cat on the counter, last night's dishes and piles of fruit and cloves from the pomanders that I stayed up until midnight to make. Not as lovely but still festive! I will put some ornaments on the dirty dishes and call it a day! LOL!
