Christmas on the Baker's Rack

Hello, Dear Ones!
I'm bringing you into my breakfast room today to show you my little baker's rack.

I just kinda shuffled things around and added some Christmasing.
Since I'm having a little almost 3 year old visiting during Christmas,
I didn't do too much here.
Just kept it simple and praying little hands don't break stuff! :)

I added the cute little wooden couple to the top shelf.
You know this is Mr. Precious and me.
Mr. Precious lost his wings a long time ago.
But as you can see I still have mine and a halo.
Just sayin' :)

I just love using my little Rooster dish holder on the baker's rack.
Brought out some sweet little Christmas dishes and poked down some Christmas greens and the second shelf was done.

This is the shelf where I keep my Le Creuset pots.
I poked down some garland and added the little Nut Cracker cookie press
my daughter gave me when she was in  high school.
He comes out of hiding each year.
Hope you're enjoying this time of year.
I'm so loving visiting your festive homes and almost tasting your delicious treats you're making.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Love is Christmas

I don’t care if the house is packed,
Or the strings of light are broken.
I don’t care if the gifts are wrapped,
Or there’s nothing here to open.

Love is not a toy, and no paper will conceal it.
Love is simply joy that I’m home.

I don’t care if the carpet's stained; we've got food upon our table.
I don’t care if it’s gonna rain, our little room is warm and stable.

Love is who we are, and no season can contain it.
Love would never fall for that.

We sing oooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.

Why so scared that you’ll mess it up? When perfection keeps you haunted.
All we need is your best my love, that’s all anyone ever wanted.

Love is how we do, let no judgment overrule it.
Love I look to you, and I sing.

Oooooooooooooooooo
Oooooooooooo
Ooooooooooooooooooooo
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Ooooooooooooooooo

Let love lead us, love is Christmas.
Let love lead us, love is Christmas.
~ sung by Sara Bareilles

  15. Your baker's rack looks so nice, Shelia. I love the garland you have tucked in here and there. I love the Le Creuset pieces. I bought two when a big kitchen store here went out of business. I wish I had bought a couple more pieces but even on closeout they were not cheap. I LOVE the way the hold the heat there. Sending up a little prayer for a "don't break it" angel to stay at your house for the days your little one is there- xo Diana

  18. Your baker's rack never fails to bring joy! Where did you get the red butter dish, I am desperate for one, no I'm serious, desperate. If you'll tell me where, I'll see if I can help Mr. Precious get some replacement wings, maybe he needs to do good deeds like George Bailey (It's a Wonderful Life but of course you already knew that!). Hugs ~ Mary

Merry Christmas to you Shelia...and a wonderful new year...looking forward to most sharing with you in 2013.
