Let's Help Our Blogging Friend

Hello, Dear Ones!
As I was over visiting Marty at A Stroll Thru Life
she informed us of what we can do to help a dear blogging friend.
So I wanted to jump on the band wagon and ask you all to rally around our dear blogger,
I'm sure most of you know her.

You may not be aware that our dear Ceekay is battling ovarian cancer and has been for many years and is in the hospital right now very ill battling a terrible reaction from her last chemo treatment.
I've never met Ceekay in person but feel as if I've always known her.
You know how it is when you connect by the heart to someone in Blogland.
I borrowed this picture of her from Laura at Decor to Adore.

Ceekay had wanted to take her family to Disneyland as Marty told us
and another of our dear blogging friends ~ Laura from Decor to Adore ~
is helping to make Ceekay's dream come true.
Laura is making these darling little Acorn Elves
and is going to give all the proceeds from them to help fund Ceekay's dream.

If you would like to help, please go over to Laura's blog ~ Decor to Adore

I know you and know how you gather around a blog friend in need.
Keep Ceekay in your prayers and pop over to Laura's Etsy shop to purchase an Elf for Ceekay.

You are all a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

  1. CeeKay has been so kind to me and hearing she is in the hospital breaks my heart. I saw Laura's post this morning and got my lil elf. I will hang it on my tree as soon as it arrives and make a wish for her everytime I walk by.

  3. I have made a donation via Laura's etsy shop. I have been concerned for Ceekay for quite some time and will continue to pray for her. Being immuno suppressed and getting an infection is serious. When I was a young nurse I became attached to all my chemo patients. It was a time I shall never forget. xo, olive

  5. I saw this bad news at Marty's earlier today and I've already started to pray for her. Add, I just posted about fond raising we do here for the poor, who can't afford expensive medical treatments, and it's in a Cancer Foundation and look! Wish I was close enough to buy one, but my prayers will be heard by the Lord.
    Big hugs,

  6. Oh Shelia, you are such a doll for spreading the word. I added a Paypal Donate button to my sidebar, so everyone that doesn't want to purchase an Acorn Elf can just donate. Laura has it on her sidebar too. Thanks again, you are the very best. Hugs, Marty

  15. Ceekay is such a dear, dear sweetheart! I knew she was having some difficulties with the new chemo, but didn't realize it was that severe, or that she was in the hospital! My heart breaks to hear this news! Thanks for sharing this! I'll try to do a plug-in for my next post for this and go over and make a donation!
