Here I Go Again

Hello, Dear Ones!

First of all, do you like my new Fallen header I've made?
I always make my own headers but my friend Barb at The Everyday Home
has a great tutorial on how to make your own headers using Ribbet.com.
So I thought if you're skeerd to make you own, this tutorial will take away all your fears.

Well, I hope you're not tired of seeing my thrifted canisters
but I just had to show you one more time.

I've moved them over to the baker's rack and this is where they're going to stay for awhile.

First of all, I flipped over my little little runners I made to the darker side for Fall and Winter.
I poked down a couple of little Rooster plates and of course, a Rooster.
There's my cookie jar poked up on some books ~ still cookieless.

The second shelf holds the canisters, tea pot and napkin holder.
Those little white Rooster salt and peppers where mine when I was a little girl.
I had a collection but only have a handful now.

This is my Le Creuset shelf.
These pots are just sitting so pretty on the third shelf
and waiting for their turn to be poked on the cooktop
to cook some tasty food for Mr. Precious and me.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Sunshine, Lillipops and Rainbows

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel
When we're together.
Brighter than a lucky penny.
When you're here the raindrops disappears
Dear and I feel so fine.
Just to know that you are mine.
My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
That's how this refrain goes.
So come on Join In. Everybody.
Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
When your in love to stay.
Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel
When we're together.
Brighter than a lucky penny.
When you hear the raindrops disappears
Dear and I feel so fine.
Just to know that you are mine.
My life is sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
That's how this refrain goes.
So come on Join In. Everybody.
Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows
Everything that's wonderful is sure to come your way
Cause your, your in love
And love is here to stay!

LOL And I just love the colors of Le Creuset. Some of my fave cookware, by the way. Its heavy as the dickens but oh does it cook good. Thanks again for being so sweet in sharing the link to my Header Tute. xxoo

  5. Shelia,
What a lovely Fall header!!! I'm a bit "chicken" to try to make one...afraid I'll mess up what I have and can't get it back. I'll visit the link and see if I'm brave enough for a try...or NOT! Your canisters on the Baker's Rack look adorable! Soon, the weather will cool and the recipes for your dutch oven pans will be just the thing to use!!! Lovely vignettes!

  18. Hello Maám Sheila,

What a great gesture to welcome the FALL time.

Wow... I wouldn't mine to have your Les Chef pots in D´Box (what I call my house)
And they'll fit to my colour motives §;-)

TY for sharing your pretty home. Lots of inspiration to bring me back home.

  20. I love your bakers rack. Matter of fact you are the reason I even got a bakers rack! I kept seeing your beautiful bakers rack with all your beauties and knew I had to have one. But with trying to thrifty I decided to wait till I saw the perfect one that I liked and was affordable. Well, the perfect one came along. My oldest daughter was replacing her bakers rack for something else and gave it to her mama! Now that is what I call affordable! FREE! I love my bakers rack with my stuff! Love your new header. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  21. I just asked my family last night at dinner if it was too early to remove the summer seashell decorations and put up the autumn arrangements. It's still so hot, but they all voted for an early Fall. Your header is beautiful!

Thanks for the tip on the tutorial.

  22. I enjoy your blog, pics and songs. Thank you for all your efforts. We are finally headed back to Galveston for a few days this weekend. It has been over a year since our last visit. We have never been there this late in the season. Can't wait! Taking our 1yo granddaughter (our first grandbaby) to the beach and Moody Gardens. Have a great week!

    1. HI Jess! Oh, have a great time in Galveston. You're going to love it as so much has changed even in a year. The big Pleasure Pier is up and running! That's a big positive for the island. Enjoy that little grand baby. I know how that is, we only have one little granddaughter too but she lives in New York! Breaks my heart but we're going to visit soon.
      Be a sweetie,
      Shelia ;)

    2. Galveston was great! The Pleasure Pier is a great addition. They did and are still doing a great job rebuilding after the hurricane. Ran into the Goodwill off the Seawall. Thought of you. But sad to say didn't find any treasures.

New York is just too far away for a grandbaby, that is for certain!
