Hello, Dear Ones.
Like I said, what cha doing?
I've been as busy as a bee with life.
Just like so many of you.
I'm glowing with glitter again...
making Glitter House.
Oh, how I love making these little cardboard houses.
I'll show you when I'm finished.
I'm resting a tad and a sweetly scented candle is always calming.
Notice the scent ~ Lemon Pound Cake ~ works for me! :)
Well, my resting time has to stop ~ gotta fix Mr. Precious some dinner.
Oh...
Oh, I did make some peanut butter fudge.
Just sayin'.
:)
Just sayin'.
:)
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
The Candyman
Bill: Who can take a sunrise
Sprinkle it in dew
Cover it in chocolate
and a miracle or two?
The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow
Wrap it is a sigh
Soak it in the sun
and make a strawberry lemon pie?
Children: The candyman?
Bill: The candyman
The candyman can
The candyman can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Willy Wonka makes
Everything he bakes
Satisfying and delicious
Talk about your childhood wishes
You can even eat the dishes
Who can take tomorrow
Dip it in a deam
Seperate the sorrow
And collect up all the cream?
The candyman
Children:Willy Wonka can
Bill: The candyman can cause he mixes it with love
And makes the world taste good
And the world tastes good cause the candyman thinks it should
~ sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

ReplyDeleteTomorrow I am going to a giant Flea Market. YAY!!! Hold me back and don't give too much money Bill or you will be sorry you did. Note: I do not need a thing but that won't stop me.
Happy days to you and yours Shelia.

The French Hutch
Always so love your beautiful home decor, Shelia. You have a knack for rich warmth. BUT... where's MY fudge? Hmmmm? That is like dangling a million $$$ bill in front of someone. Mother used to make the old fashioned kind that you sat for HOURS & beat until your arm newarly fell off. Then she would put it in the pans to set. THEN she would hide it ... & the search began. It was her special gift to many at Christmas. Well, one year I found the entire batch & we 5 kids enjoyed ever licking (notice the world licking) bit ... & didn't sit for a good while.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holiday weekend ~
Hugs
