Little Bitty Pretty One!

Hello, Dear Ones!
Just let me say...
Oh, Boy! Oh, Joy! Hallelujah!
Whoopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Why am I so excited?
Look what I found at the GW.

A little bitty pretty Le Creuset pot!
I think it may hold a little over a quart.
At $10, I felt compelled to save her. :)

Checking it out, I saw the bottom looked pretty bad and I was hoping to be able to clean it up.
Did I say, OH JOY!? I think I did. :)

It has a few chips and scratches but I didn't care, no, no Nannette!

I went to work and applied my cleaning mojo and here's how she wound up looking on the inside.
Pretty nice, huh?

Extra cleaning mojo was applied to her bottom.
It's not perfect but she will cook for me just fine!
Did I say OH BOY yet? :)

I wanted to show you her little knob on the lid.
I think this is an older piece, don't you?
My other Le Creusets have the name on the lid itself, so...just wondering.

I'm so thrilled about my little bitty pretty orange Le Creuset.

Have I said HALLELUJAH yet? :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

  1. I'd be shouting too, if I found a pretty orange Le Creuset! I am partial to orange, but I really love the kiwi color. Great buy and great clean up. Happy Father's Day to Mr. Note Songs. xo

  3. How cute! I have two little itty bitty (and I do mean itty bitty) ones in red which I use for my salt and pepper cellars by my stove.

  4. Cute! And I might be able to lift that little bitty one. I finally gave away my large Le Creuset skillet -- I just couldn't lift the thing it was so heavy! Sally

  16. Hey lady,

Thanks for visiting. Like that little cooker you found. You cleaned it up really well! You did spy a few Currier and Ives plates. They belonged to my MIL. Those peas were delish! Fresh from a market near our home in N. Ga. Crunchy corn bread, baked squash, and tomatoes, cucumbers, and I ate way too much!! I love me some fresh veggies!

    Have a great Sunday!

  27. Hi Shelia, it is so good to have a visit from you. I'm very sorry that you are so allergic to bees, it does put you on guard around flowerbeds. I simple love the fact that you put a little song into your posts. There is nothing better than going around all day with a song in your heart. Thanks again for the sweet visit. Connie :)

Love that song, I fould up a crippled kitten on my back porch a few months back, and before we named her, I called her Little Bitty Pretty One. Now she is a big ole pretty one, we call her Abigail.

  36. Well, lucky little ole you! You did a great job cleaning her up too. I remember that song and always liked it. I have to say it sure looks a little bitty nuts in print. HA!

See you soon. We still have to pack up this AM so I will call you when we get on the road. We had a long and fun day yesterday with our grands but since Bill stayed up late watching his basketball game he is still sleeping.

We were told by Maddi's parents that we should be heading home from Galveston no later then 2:00pm Shelia. Otherwise we can get in a terrible traffic situation on our way home. So that is the time we need to get going. Just a heads up on our time.

    See you soon. YAY!!!
    Love, Jeanne
