Hello, Dear Ones!
I wanted to show you what my most tiny delicate talented fingers made.
Please know I'm joking. :)
I'm always pinning sewing projects I'd like to make...ONE DAY.
You know how that is, don't you?
I started seeing all of these cute purses and starting pinning my tiny socks off.
Guess what?
That ONE DAY came and I went to town and made this purse.
I made a soft lined purse.
I used left over fabric from a little sewing rocker I recovered a few years ago.
If you'd like to see that little recover job, you can click HERE.
Looky how talented I am...I made special pockets for my cell, pens and little cheating glasses.
I put a long strap on it so I could sling it over my shoulder.
I was trying to model it a bit for you.
Shoot, I should have worn a color coordinated shirt!
Now as cute as my little soft purse is when I put anything heavy in it,
like my tiny little water bottle, it wanted to collapse a bit.
Do I care?
No, no Nannette, I don't care a bit and I've even gotten quite a few compliments on it.
Now if you want to put your most tiny delicate talented fingers to work sewing a little soft purse you can click right HERE it's the Phoebe Bag
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Little Green Bag
Lookin' back on the track for a little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind
Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.
Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.
Lookin' back
Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind, yeah!
Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind.
Lookin' back on the track for a little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind
Out of sight in the night out of sight in the day,
Lookin' back on the track gonna do it my way.
Lookin' back on the track for a little little green bag,
Got to find just the kind or I'm losin' my mind,
Alright.
Lookin' for some happiness
But there is only loneliness to find
Jump to the left, turn to the right
Lookin' upstairs, lookin' behind.

Adorable purse, Shelia, such soft pretty colors. xo
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! I like doing little projects once in awhile. Right now, I'm making for my granddaughter a sun dress -- all lined with an attached ruffly petticoat. I could use a simple project as I get bored making ruffles!!!! Have a good week. Sally
ReplyDeleteI am highly impressed by your sewing skills, seriously! And it is beautiful, I'm not surprised you've had some nice compliments on it. Your dainty little fingers never cease to amaze me. Hugs ~ Mary
