Therapy

Hello, Dear Ones.
You know how it is ~ some days you just don't quite feel right.
But I figured out what was wrong with me. I'm so talented like that you know! ;)
I needed a bit of THERAPY.

ther·a·py

any act, hobby, task, program, etc., that relieves tension

Yep, that's what I needed!

I got out and went thrifting and here's what I found!

A darling bunny candy dish for 50% off! I love that!
I used this puppy for Easter and just may just have her hang around a while longer!
Paid $4.50 for it.

 Ain't she purdy? :)
She's a very light yellow and so sweet.

Then my most tiny heart skipped five beats when I saw this chicken and her chicks vase!
Oh, how I love her!
She's looks rather vintage and I am thinking of all kinds of ways to use her.

My tiny heart was still skipping beats when I spied these two tiny chick lidded dishes.
Now I have four! Woo Hooness!

 Then I found this beauty!
An almost basket!
It's not very baskety on the bottom so I'm calling it an almost basket.
But look at all the pretty fruit!

I know I can use this lovely piece many ways.

Now I feel so much better after I had my therapy treatment.
You may want to try it too! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

They're Coming To Take Me Away

Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to

leave because I'd go berserk?? Well...

You left me anyhow and then the days got worse and worse and now you see

I've gone completely out of my mind.. And..

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!

They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed when I had said

that loosing you would make me flip my lid.. RIGHT???
I know you laughed, I heard you laugh, you laughed you laughed and
laughed and then you left, but now you know I'm utterly mad... And..

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa,

They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the happy home. With trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!

I cooked your food, I cleaned your house, and this is how you pay me back

for all my kind unselfish loving deeds.. Huh??
Well you just wait, they'll find you yet and when they do they'll put you
in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!!! And...

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa.

They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy
to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming
to take me away, ha-haaa!!!
To the happy home, with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haa!!!
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time...
~ sung by? :)

I have a blue and white serving platter just like the one in you pic background. On Easter, my DIL said she inherited a whole set that matches that platter from her Grandma so I offered it to her ( I got it for FREE ) She said the dish set was in the attic somewhere...I said get it down and use it, enjoy that your Grandma wanted you to have her dishes !!!

  37. You got a lot of great finds, Sheila. I like the little mini white chicken pots and love the chicken and her chicks! BUT: Oh my Lord, I remember that song from when I was little! It used to scare the sh*t outta me!!!! When it would come on the radio, I'd have to run and turn it off. (Especially the end where it would be manipulated for his voice to be really high and maniacal!) Now you will have me thinking of that all night. LOL!
    Best,
    Gloria

  38. I love your therapy Sheila! I did a little therapy myself today! Great finds!

  39. Shelia, I got some therapy today too and I feel great, too.
The downside is that my therapy was more expensive than yours. I went to Hobby Lobby and Marshall's and it was difficult trying to keep myself from buying lots and lots of pretty spring things. I did enough shopping to help the country's economy so that made me feel patriotic and good. You found some very cute and useful things so no wonder you feel good, too. Enjoy you cute new finds!-----
