Pretty in Pink

Hello, Dear Ones!
I'm so excited...
Look what little lovelies I found in a thrift shop today!

 Little bowls Pretty in Pink!

Guess how much I paid for these little cuties?
$2.50!!!
Yes, for all three and two lids!

1 Pint.

 1 1/2 Pint.

 1 Quart.

Darling little Gooseberry Pink Pyrex nesting bowls.
Perfect condition too!

 Cinderella bowls.
Cute, huh?

I'm thinking maybe some chicken salad would look rather pretty in my little bowls!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you a little Note Song ~

I'm So Excited

Tonight's the night we're gonna make it happen
Tonight we'll put all other things aside
Get in this time and show me some affection
We're going' for those pleasures in the night
I want to love you, feel you
Wrap myself around you
I want to squeeze you, please you
I just can't get enough
And if you move real slow
I'll let it go
I'm so excited and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it
I'm so excited and I just can't hide it
And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want you
We shouldn't even think about tomorrow
Sweet memories will last for long, long time
We'll have a good time, baby
Don't do worry
And if we're still playing' around boy
That's just fine
Let's get excited, ooh
We just can't hide it, no, no, no
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it
I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, no, no
I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want you, I want you
Oooh, boy, I want to love you
Feel you, wrap myself around you
I want to squeeze you, please you
No, I just can't get enough
And if you move real slow
I'll let it go
I'm so excited, oooh-weee
I just can't hide it
Oooh, I'm about to lose control
And I think I like it, oh, yeah
I'm so excited
And I just can't hide it, no, no, no, no, no
I know, I know, I know, I know
I know I want you
Want you
Look what you do to me
You've got me burning up
Oooooooooooh
How did you get to me
I've got to give it up
Oooooooooooh
Baby, I'm so excited
(What you do to me)
I just can't hide it
(You've got me burning up)
I'm about to lose control
And I think I like it, yeah
I'm so excited
(How did you get to me)
I can't deny, no, no
I know, I know I want you

  18. WHAT ????? I have seen those in antique shops and they want a fortune for a set of those old pyrex bowls (of which I had a dozen of when first married in the 70's) The best place to find them I guess is in a thrift shop, or garage sale, where they don't KNOW what there are worth I guess.
    How crazy is that.

  48. What a steal and a deal...I would have grabbed them too! When I was a kid, we had a large pink pyrex bowl in that pattern. I found one a few years ago, and mentioned to my kids that it was the potato salad bowl...my Mom used it for that purpose. My sister was having dinner with us one day and saw it on the table. She wanted to know why Mom gave me the potato salad bowl...my kids think we are nuts. It is amazing how you can have a memory just from a vintage find.
