Hello, Dear Ones! I'm going to show you 'how I felt'! Did I get you with my title? :)
Having a grandbaby has gotten me into thinking of unusual things I can make for her.
I could go to the store and buy up lots of toys and cute things.
Well, I do that, but I wanted to make things for her that would be different.
I shared with you HERE (you can see the Valentine ornaments I made for Carter) about how she loved the Christmas tree and its lights so much that I ordered her a little white tree with lights on it so she could have it up and my daughter could decorate it seasonally.
Got me to thinking...hey, I can make little felt ornaments!
Got me to thinking...hey, I can make little felt ornaments!
Time for Spring Easter ornies!
Ta Dah!!
Here is the tree topper, so to speak. A little rabbit with embroidery all over it.
My most talented dainty fingers have been going to town!
Then my tiny fingers made four of these blue birds and each have a different colored daisy stitched flower on its wing.
More bunnies...I made four of these leaping bunnies. Two blanket stitched in green...
and two bunnies stitched in pink. Aren't they so cute?
I'm bragging on my most tiny ;) self!
I made four of these silly little sheep.
My tiny dainty talented fingers kept going and I made four bunny peep heads, two with blue flowers...
and then I made two bunny head peeps with pink.
Guess where I got most of my inspiration ~
a few from web sites and Pinterest!
How I love Pinterest!
If you follow me there, you'll notice I'm constantly pinning little felt ornaments.
Hope I'm not committing crimes by making my own from these Pinterest pictures.
These were my own idea ~ silly little chicks popping out of eggs!
Each one looks a tad different.
Before I box up the Easter ornies and send them to little Carter, I just had to put them on my own little feather tree to check them out. Oh, and of course, to show you! :)
Do you think my little Carter will like her Easter ornies? I sure hope so.
I'm thinking of Mother's Day and Father's Day now.
So I guess I can say...stay tuned for more of How I Felt! :)
I'm so clever! :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Everything I Do, I Do It For You
Look into my eyes, you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart, search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you
Look into your heart, you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am, take my life
I would give it all, I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you
Oh yeah
There's no love, like your love
And no other, could give more love
There's nowhere, unless you're there
All the time, all the way, yeah
Look into your heart, baby
Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would fight for you, I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you, yeah I'd die for you
You know it's true
Everything I do, oh, I do it for you
What you mean to me
Search your heart, search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you
Look into your heart, you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am, take my life
I would give it all, I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do, I do it for you
Oh yeah
There's no love, like your love
And no other, could give more love
