Hello, Dear Ones!
How are you today?
I've had something happen on my drop leaf table ~ an explosion!
Yep, an Easter garden explosion.
Just a garden explosion on my table.
Here's a little hare under glass with an egg in hand.
Two little helpful darlings.
Oh, my Lord!
These two have been smooching ever since I've brought them home.
They are sure in love.
Bunnies in a cart!
They're pretending the cart is a car.
At the back of my explosion is a basket of Spring flowers I made probably over ten years ago to sit on my mantel.
Can you believe I've kept it all these years?
I'm so sentimental like that you know! :)
Well, I pulled my basket down from a high shelf and got to cleaning the leaves and flowers.
Getting rid of dust and making the flowers and leaves look new and Springlike.
I'm so talented like that you know! :)
I'm so talented like that you know! :)
I kinda like it when Easter garden explosions are filled with such sweetness, don't you?

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
All In An Easter Garden
All in an Easter garden
Before the break of day,
An angel came from heavenAnd rolled the stone away. When Jesus' friends came seeking,With myrrh and spices rare,They found the angels at the door,But Jesus was not there. All in an Easter garden,Where water lilies bloom,The angels gave their messageBeside an empty tomb:"The Lord is here no longer,Come, see where once he lay;The Lord of life is risen indeed,For this is Easter day."
~ sung by my table

ReplyDeleteI love it, Shelia! All those bunnies ~ I'd be in heaven! Your flowers look great. I'm so tempted to buy some real ones for outside, but I'm afraid the freeze may still hit us here in Ohio. I am trying to enjoy my faux flower arrangements in the house for now!
ReplyDeleteI think you love bunnies just about as much as I do, Shelia. I just love their cute little ears and sweet expressions. Thank you for showing your spring explosion at the party. You were featured on my Saturday favorites for your last pretty spring vignette. It was very pretty, too. You have a way of making people feel happy when they visit your blog. I am not a very funny person(way too serious) but you cheer me up and make me want to loosen up a bit. Thanks!------- Shannon

ReplyDeleteHi Shelia, Your garden explosion is so much prettiness and fun. Love the bunnies and everything you shared. My Easter box is still in the attic. Sigh. We won't be home for Easter but I still want to decorate. Bill needs to get going. I do not like to climb up to the attic.
