More Of My Piddlin'

Hello, Dear Ones! I'm bringing you back into my dining room again today.
I know, you've all seen this room so many times before.

But I'm wanting to show you what I've poked onto my tabletop.

I placed down a crocheted runner and scrunched
(I learned this most wonderful activity from Marty at A Stroll Thru Life).

I bought two new etched cloches from Marshalls ~ the little knobs on top are a little different from each other. The cloches were just screaming for these little ladies to crawl under the glass. And so they did!

Now for my floral centerpiece. Faux flowers of course. You've seen my milk glass footed bowl too. I love it and use it constantly. I. love. this. piece! Can you really love a milk glass footed bowl you may ask? Why, you bet your milk cow you can! :)

 A little milk glass here...

 A little milk glass there...

A little milk glass right here on my table top filled with spingy looking fauxs!

A little fiddled with snap of my dining room. Thanks for popping in to see me.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Heart of Glass

Once I had a love and it was a gas,
Soon turned out had a heart of glass.
Seemed like the real thing, only to find.
Mucho mistrust. Love's gone behind

Once I had a love and it was divine.
Soon found out. How to lose my mind
It seemed like the real thing, but I was so blind
Mucho mistrust. Love's gone behind

In between "what I find is pleasing" and "I'm feeling fine",
love is so confusing
There's no peace of mind.
If I fear I'm losing you,It's just not good.
You teasing like you do.

Once I had a love and it was a gas,
It soon turned out had a heart of glass.
Seemed like the real thing, only to find mucho mistrust.
Love's gone behind.

  8. It's so hard to find beautiful cloches like those from mainstream retailers! Usually only in antique stores around here! Lovely! andrea@townandprairie

  13. Your dining room looks like a cozy place to sit and have a wonderful meal with a sweet lady. I bet there would be much laughter and good conversation. I like the lovely ladies under the cloches. They look very striking on your table. I have several pieces of milk glass but none as pretty as your open weave one. I seem partial to the hobnail design, I guess partly because that was one of the first pieces that my grandmother gave me years ago. I see that my party is on your list so thanks in advance. I appreciate your participation.------- Shannon
