Hello, Dear Ones!
Today we are celebrating The Potty!
Yes, ma'am!
A very special green Baby Bjorn Potty.
We're celebrating because little granddaughter Carter said, "Me potty!" while pointing to the toilet.
So her mommy ran right out and purchased one ~ a very special green potty!
Observe nekked (that's Texan for naked) little one sitting on her green potty,
bruises all over her little legs from climbing and bumping all over the place.
That's all she does right now ~ just sits.
No business ~ just sitting.
Notice her tiny hair is growing! ;)
Just sitting!
Well, sitting and reading!
Reading a potty book while sitting on her special green potty!
Nothing sweeter to this gran's ears than to hear little Carter say, "Me potty!"
Well, maybe except, "I love you!" in her special little sweet Carter voice.
Indulge me! :)
I'm joining My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
It's My Potty
It's my potty and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to, cry if I want to
You would cry too if it happened to you!
~ borrowed from It's My Party sung by Leslie Gore :)
What a fun, cute post! It won't be long until she's doing business on the pretty, green potty!
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol

ReplyDeleteRose from Oz - Rose says: How totally precious Shelia, so cute. I'm still online and can view your post AND make comments (albeit anonymously for the moment) Blog has gone and FB all shut down and deleted. What a horrid word. I'm just sooo happy that for the minute I can still follow my fav blogs!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Nothing but pure sweetness! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSo glad she loves her new green potty. Hope it becomes useful as well. She is such a doll!
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, one day she is going to ask why oh why did you post those nekkid pics of me on the potty on your blog grandma. My kiddo would just die a thousand deaths but she is a little darling Shelia. hugs, olive
ReplyDeleteWell I know you were proud by how darling she looks sitting there trying. Too sweet! At least she's asking for it. Mine never did. I had to break the news to them that I wasn't going to change them forever! Shocker!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable post!!! I'm still chuckling, just too cute!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Carter is leaning fast and I'm sure she'll soon have success. Hugs, Pamela

ReplyDeleteAND A BIG REASON TO CELEBRATE!!!
he is adorable!!!
love this!!!
big hugs,

I bet if there were a little caption above Carter's head like in a comic, she would be saying," goodness sakes, is nothing private anymore". Watch out, Shelia, she just might get you back someday when you least expect it. She looks very interested in finding out what the little book says. She's a cutie --which seems to run in the family. Shannon
ReplyDeletehahaha....you have a great sense of humor! It's my potty and I'll cry if I want to....I can hear the tune in my head.
ReplyDeleteThe green potty chair is darling.
Your lil Miss is growing up and now she's potty training. I remember when your daughter was pregnant with her. Mercy, time flies.
God bless you!

Only a granny can understand... adorable.
ReplyDeleteLOL! So cute the pee-party boy, hahaha...you made me crack up sweet Shelia! He looks so confortable and busy in his role doing pee-pee. He's too adorable. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend,
FABBY
How cute, Shelia! At least there's some interest there!
ReplyDeleteShe sure is growing fast and just adorable, sittin' and readin'....:))
ReplyDeleteAnytime a child expresses any interest in the potty, by all means we should make every effort to train them! Oh my- it was many years ago for me. But darn if the kid didn't love to read a book while sitting on the toilet! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh I'm sorry dear Shelia, I thought SHE was a boy, lol! My daughter Sofia when she was a little one like yours everyone thought she was a boy too and also that HE looked like her dad! She's adorable, I love little girls. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteFABBY

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you posted about Carter, loved seeing how she's grown and her hair is coming in nicely indeed!
She is going to be such a blondie!
I don't think she will be bothered at all someday by these pics. After all, she is still just a tot!
Addison's new thing is to follow me into the bathroom and point and say over and over butt, butt.
I just love babies!
Hugs friend,
Cindy
