Hello, Dear Ones! I just had to think of a different kind of title for my post today because I show you this view so very often. I love my little china hutch in the breakfast room and I change it out so often. But it's so much fun and you all know how I love to have fun. So if you don't want to see it again ~ you're excused. :)
I just love seeing some of your beautiful all over white homes but honey, I just gotta have color and by the way this snap looks ~ lots of it! ;)Here's my little play toy hutch! All happy to be Januaried up! :) I do believe I hear some clucking and crowing going on!
I've placed some yard birds on the very top and they just love it up here!
Then I've poked down a most fun pattern of little dishes with chickens and fruit all over the shelves.
Rooster face off! I've had the amber colored Rooster for some time and while out Christmas shopping for others found the green colored one for me! :)
I've got color here...
I've got color there...
but oh no! I don't have a grandbaby any where! :( I keep Carter's little high chair right here for her when she comes for a visit. I found this olden high chair and painted it up all special for my Little Tiny! If you'd like to see the post of my redoing it, you can go HERE.
I always tell you my little breakfast room china hutch is my favorite toy, but now that I have my new baker's rack ~ it's a toss up! I told you I had lots of stuff in here! :)

Oh how I love your chickens!!! I have a chicken of my own...a candy dish ~ made out of white ceramic, no less! I love color but I like my home to be a little subdued. I teach preschool so I need calm!!!
ReplyDeleteMy grandpa had a chicken candy dish filled with meltaways and I will always remember that dish with nostalgia and think of him fondly.

Your kitchen has to be the most happiest place I've have ever seen! I just love that little highchair. Enjoy your day, Gail
ReplyDeleteWhat a "FOWL" post! LOL Hahaha...I crack myself up sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, this is just wonderful with all your vibrant colors, Shelia. I ♥ it!
Your new bakers rack fits in nicely. I use mine for seasonal decorations too. I like the idea of those big baskets on the bottom. I may borrow that one soon for a different look.
Thanks for the inspiration!
fondly,
Rett
I love this view, Shelia and am so happy you show it now and then! Beautiful!

Happy Blue Monday, Shelia.
So happy to have found you and visited. Loved your post and your lovely things. You cannot keep chickens in the same spot very long. Your home is very nice.

Sherry
I LOVE them both, there's a soft spot in my heart for Shabby Chic decor, but most of my home and decor style lends to lots of color.

Kathy

How fun! You have quite the large collection of cluckers going on there! I know a few people who would be very jealous! (I'm not even going to mention it to my sister..) I'm looking forward to all of the transitions your new baker's rack will go through in competition with your hutch! :-)
ReplyDeleteRobin

Shelia,
ReplyDeleteHi! I just love the colors in your Breakfast room I love your red curtains and the mix of color. It looks really pretty. Pat
Your china hutch looks so cheery, Shelia! I can't imagine any Winter doldrums in this room! : ) I love how the dishes and roosters look with the red of your curtains.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I love it all! You have a knack for setting things up so nicely! I agree with you about color. I find all the white, white and white too be too plain and little on impact. Your tablecloth is so cute and really pulls the room together. I love red too and I am always drawn to it! You know you look like Debbie Reynolds!!
ReplyDeleteLove the color, especially that gorgeous tablecloth...is it vintage or did you pick it up recently? Thanks for linking to the Tuesday To Do Party!
ReplyDeleteSmiles!

I love your color - I love the chickens - and I still want the baker's rack.
ReplyDeleteI'm a color girl as well. Especially red! And I did drool on you kithcen curtains I hope they didn't stain.Love the little high chair.
ReplyDeleteShelia,
ReplyDeleteYour colors are beautiful. I also love the amber and green roosters.
And the ones strutting across the top of the hutch!
What a beautiful job you've done. When ever I see a chicken, I'm always reminded of the famous jungle fowl in hawaii, called Moa (hawaiian for chicken, how original!)
ReplyDeleteI have to have color too. Glad I'm not the only one. :)
Hello Shelia~ It's always nice stopping by for a visit.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your posts and the eye candy you so generously share, not only for the eye but the palette as well.
I adore your bold colors. I'm a little partial cause they're very similar to mine. Although my kitchen is itty-bitty. I try to dress her up like shes grand.
I hope you can stop by to see the Valentine surprises I've got in stored. This week starting with...Pain au Chocolat with a Valentine twist. I'll put the kettle on for a nice cup of tea.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
