Wonderful Christmas Time

Hello, Dear Ones! Are you finished with your Christmas decorating yet? It's work but it sure is fun! My tongue is just hanging out from running over here to look at your house and running over there to look at your house...but keep up the Chrsitmasing because I'm loving it.

I want to bring you into the den and show you the vignette I've set up on my little Duncan Phyfe drop leaf table. I did show this table in my Christmas home tour but not up close. I love this little table.

I poked down a red runner and grabbed three cloches. I was off!

Threw down some lighted greens to brighten the path. Tossed in some pine cones, berry picks and a sparkly garland. Just like the floor of the forest. I'm loving this!

Nothing fancy under my cloches, just lots of Christmas balls here. You all know I say 'balls'! :)

Lots of Christmas balls there.

Lots of Christmas balls everywhere. Oh, and some jeweled fruit spread all around just in case a little reindeer needs a tiny snack! ;)

Just having fun! You may recognize some of these snaps as they are in my Christmas header above.
Oh, did you see that little deer jump over the pine cone? :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Wonderful Christmas Time

The moon is right
The spirits up
We're here tonight
And that's enough

Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

The party's on
The feelin's here
That only comes
This time of year

Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

The choir of children sing their song
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding Ohhhh
Ohhhhhhh

Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

The word is out
About the town
To lift a glass
Ahhh don't look down
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/c/christmas_songs/wonderful_christmastime.html SSimply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong

The party's on
The spirits up
We're here tonight
And that's enough

Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

The moon is right
The spirits up
We're here tonight
And that's enough

Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime
Simply having a wonderful christmastime

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Christmastime

  15. Hi Shelia!

Very pretty for sure... and yes we do all know that you say balls. That's what they were back in the middle of LAST century ;) I know 'cause I was there.

That brings to mind that every year my mom got a box of candy and my dad got a can of nuts...

Well he had the kind of humor that the dad in the movie "A Christmas Story" had... and the language to go along. Nuf said.

  23. Oh Shelia, I'm sorry I haven't been over to visit. My, how the time rushes by. I injured my hands and they are finally better but last Sat. was our Christmas party for 35 of our friends. I was very busy as you might know. This week I am mailing packages and finishing my Christmas shopping. The Christmas rush is on in our home. Smile.

I love your 'Christmas balls' so much. Your arrangement on the pretty table is really pretty. I love the sparkle and the bright colors. The table is a treasure too. I am going to gather the cloches and ball them up. HA!

I too love all the Christmas goings on. My favorite time of the year. As soon as I finish my shopping, maybe today!!! I am staying on my computer and visiting all my darling blogging friends to my hearts content.
    Love you much.
