Christmasing with Little Richard

Hello, Dear Ones!

Yep, I said Little Richard! Now if you didn't know, I name some of my furniture and this little olden sideboard/buffet in my dining room is named Little Richard. I named him Little Richard because I bought him from my friend Richard. Really very simple!

I've been decorating my tiny head off! Here's what I've come up with for Christmasing with Little Richard!

I found these little cake icing looking trees at Hobby Lobby one year and they were just screaming to be with Little Richard this Christmas season. So here they sit atop of my silver ware box. This box usually sits on Little Richard and always has some little something sitting on it!

Here's the other little spot ~ a Christmasy plate, greens, candle and ornies ~ all sitting on a bed of snow! :)

Precious little scene, isn't it?

The Holly and the Ivy! sing sing sing... :)

I forgot to light the candle!

Sugared fruit! Well, jeweled fruit anyway.

And Reba the Rebel just showing off! That camera, what am I going to do with her? Keep her for sure! :) I just love my Reba showing off snapping sugared fruit! And you ask, can you love Reba showing off snapping sugared fruit! Well, you bet your visions of sugar plums dancing in your tiny heads you can! :) I'm so creative! :) You know I'm teasing, sort of! ;)

A final peep at my Chrismasing with Little Richard. Hope your decorating is going well. I'm almost finished and this morning I'm totally too pooped to pop! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Lucille (gotta honor Little Richard and Lucille is my mother's name)

Lucille, you won't do your sisters will,
Lucille, you won't do your sisters will,
You ran off and married, but I love you still.

Lucille, please come back where you belong,
Lucille, please come back where you belong,
I've been good to you baby, please don't lead me along.

I woke up this mornin', Lucille was not in sight,
I asked my friends about her but all their lips was tight,
Lucille, please come back where you belong,
I've been good to you baby, please don't lead me along.

Lucille, baby, satisfy my heart,
Lucille, baby, satisfy my heart,
I played love with you baby, and gave you such a wonderful
start
~ sung by Little Richard

  14. Hi Shelia!

I am afraid you have more energy than I... and far more creativity! But I am trying to enjoy a few moments visiting my favorite blogs, something I have been unable to do for awhile.

I hope Richard and Reba don't give you any trouble... they are getting so much press I am afraid they might be getting 'big heads'!

  35. You might know that, being a teen in the 50's, Little Richard was my FAV....oh, yes, I saw him once in person and he came down the aisle to the stage on a motorcycle. He sang his little Richard head off and I screamed MY head off. :)) So so much fun...I don't know if he is even still alive???
Everything is looking great on Little Richard. :0)
