A Little Fallen House Tour

Hello, Dear Ones! I thought I would show you a little fallen tour of my home. If you visit me often you've probably seen most of these snaps already but here I go again! :)

I'm a little embarrassed to show you these doors. I made these wreaths about three years ago and have used them every Fall since. I guess I'll use them until they fall apart! ;)

Come on in to the entry...

Living room. Hmm...I'm wondering if I outta paint these walls a creamy color? I loved the green when I first painted them but now I don't think they look right. What do you think?

Another shot of the room with those "I'm not so sure anymore color on the walls".

Moving into the dining room ~ this is what you see on my dining table.

I have two buffets in here ~ well, this is a buffet (olden) and...

this is actually a server (more olden). They both look very similar topped with my silver ware boxes, same napkins, white tureens and Fallen flowers! I like it.

Then my hutch got the snowy Fallen colored look too! I think I'll keep my white pieces in here for Christmas and just had some sparkly! I love sparkly!

Here is my den mantle ~ just packed as full of Fallen orange colors as possible.

Coffee table.

My drop leaf table in the den decked out for Fall too.

This little area is in the built ins in the den and this spot happens to be next to where I sit and blog in my recliner. Yep, I'm lazy like that! :)

Then we walk into the breakfast room and this is what you see. A silly Fallen breakfast hutch.

I showed you this last week at Marty's Fall cloche party. It is one of my favorite spots in my kitchen! :)

Another corner of my kitchen ~ I love my little Fallen punkin tureen!

The last spot I'll show you is at my little desk in the breakfast room.

Hope you've enjoyed my little home tour.

I'm still battling this upper respiratory mess I've gotten into. I'm on my second round of meds and today is my last dose. I feel better but I'm so weak. I can't afford to feel like this! So this is way I'm showing you reruns today.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

There's No Place Like Home

There’s no place like home
Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home

Well I used to have a sweetheart
To walk and talk with me
But now I have no sweetheart
What pleasure do I see

There’s no place like home
Well I say now home, home sweet home
There’s no place like home
Wherever you wander
There’s no place like home

There’s no place like home

~ sung by me

  6. Sheila, I enjoyed your fallen tour. Your home is so pretty and inviting. The green in the living room is pretty, but if you are ready for a change then go for it.

  7. Sheila, Your Fall vignettes are so pretty and give me so many good ideas for changing things in my house. Thanks for the inspiration. I know what you mean about the color in your living room. I've had green in the kitchen/breakfast room for many years and can't decide if I want something different. Wouldn't it be nice just to blink and it would change? Just to see if you like it?
    Have a great Sunday.

Your home really is so warm and inviting! If inwere to change the wall colors i think a good nuetral that has gold tones in it would look warm with your beautiful things!

I also have a love of roosters and yours are so elegantly dispersed.

I think i have that same crud cuz my nose is a stuffy..hoping it wont need meds..but it usually gets me.

    Be blessed,

  30. I'm so sorry to hear that you're still battling that illness. My husband had that earlier this year and it took him a long time to get over it. I think that's just the nature of that illness. You described how he felt too. Your home looks so lovely. Hopefully, you'll be all well in time to decorate for Christmas in the next few weeks.

Your entryway blew me away. I don't think I've seen it before...I would remember. It is sooooo gorgeous with that winding staircase. I think I'm jealous! ;-)

  47. I loved your house tour. Thanks for the compliments on my kitchen.

I truly hope you feel better soon. It sounds like you have that mess I came down with at the beach. I tolerated the Biaxin for 8 days, and then threw it away. I just doctored myself with Advil Cold and Sinus, took lots of vitamins and hoped for the best. I had a pneumonia shot last year, so I kept my fingers crossed it would not get into my chest, and it didn't. I thought the meds were worse than the bug! It lasted two entire weeks, and I still felt really week for quite a while.

I feel fine now, so you will too, soon I hope.

I think your idea for a creamy color in your LR is a good one, but I also think it looks pretty the way it is. We all like a change now and then, don't we?

I just love that sweet little boy and he also is getting too big..I have not been able to even pick him up for over a month..Poor thing walks into my house holding out his little arms..so now I just sit on the floor with him sighs!!
