Playing In The Breakfast Room Again

Hello, Dear Ones! Here I am in the breakfast room and I've been playing with my favorite little hutch. I change this out so much.

Here you can see her dressed up in her summer clothes! :)

Some white tureens on top and a little basket filled with plates. I seem to always my Rooster on a stick up here! Well, he guards my breakfast room.

This toile tray was in the builtins for years and the den. When I rearranged my builtins I took out the tray and here she sits! That's a really small tureen and a pair of Rooster Salt & Pepper shakers that I have had since I was a little girl. I still love them.

Aren't they sweet and you can certainly tell they're pretty olden. I gave them a bit more attention by popping each one of them upon a pedestal. Well, little green glass candlesticks. :)

The green and red dishes I found a few years ago at Ross.

I bought this pretty little red and white bowl at Goodwill and poked some flowers in it. I know that sunflower looks a little out of place - but hey, I love it! :) Can you love an arrangement of fauxs with one sunflower that looks out of place? Well, you bet your salty sunflower seeds poked into a little ice cold bottle of coke you can! I'm so clever like that! :)

This is a little chicken bowl I've had for some time and she's just so cute so I thought she could sit here on the middle shelf.

Love my Roosters and here are a couple of them. They look like papa and son, don't they?

Here you can see the green dishes a little better. They're so pretty I think and I wished I had bought the bowls! I haven't seen them anymore, so I'm a little deprived. Here's another tureen sitting on a little runner I made.

I have two of these little teeny chicken bowls sitting on each side of the tureen. Aren't they sweet?

Last of all I'm showing you one of my favorite little creamers. Love the Rooster on it and it's filled with little Rooster spreaders, just little dolls! :) Well, actually, those maybe little chickens and maybe this is the harem of my little Rooster creamer. Oh, my tiny little mind can wander. :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Girl Happy

Girl happy, yes I'm girl happy,
Girl happy, can't you see

Every girl I see looks good to me
What a crazy way out way to be
I love a life of nothing but beautiful women
Well I'm Girl happy, yes I'm girl happy,
Girl happy, can't you see

Every time I see a pretty face
My heart just heads for outer space
I need a girl to make my life worth livin'
Yes, I'm Girl happy, yes I'm girl happy,
Girl happy, can't you see

I've been like this since I was just a baby boy
First nurse that ever rocked my cradle made me jump for joy
Mama keep your daughter out of sight
I'm in a lovin' mood tonight
I love a life of nothing but beautiful women
Well I'm Girl happy, yes I'm girl happy,
Girl happy, can't you see

I've been like this since I was just a baby boy
First nurse that ever rocked my cradle made me jump for joy
Girl happy, well I'm girl happy,
Yes I'm girl happy, can't you see
Girl happy, said I'm girl happy,
Yes I'm girl happy, can't you see

This is a very sweet arrangement. I like all the chickens displayed together in your hutch.
I never would've thought of placing the roosters on the green pedestals for height! Your geen plates remind me of cabbage and roses fabric.
My china cabinet sure needs some freshening-I think I'll borrow some of your ideas!

I wish my hutch didn't have doors on it ... or I wish I was brave enough to remove them :-O that sounds scary to me! But look out because I might do it. Thanks for sharing your hutch re-do, so cute!
