As you can see a little Rooster had to pop into the display too. He's such a Romeo and I think he has a crush on my chickie! :)
And that's the story of my Three Bowls...not to be confused with My Three Sons. If you're olden I'm sure you remember that wonderful TV show from the 1960s. There I go chasing rabbits, bowls or sons again! :) You know I'm totally a silly!
Now Dear Ones, I can't let you go without inviting you to my Heart of the Home - Roosters and Chickens Party. We all know our kitchen is the heart of the home and I'm sure you have lots of Roosters and Chickens there. But...those little yard birds are sneaky and they escape into other rooms of your home. So if you can get a snap of them, no matter where they are in your home - inside or outside, it counts.
I got so excited typing up my invitation post, that I made a few typos. Thank you all, Dear Ones, who told me and now I think I have them all fixed! The party will be Tuesday, August 9th! (you all know how August types like April, don't you? ) :) You can click HERE to find out about it!
Just wanted to add that I will be having a giveaway after the party. I'm working on it now and will have some snaps soon! The give away will only be for you that come to my party! You'll have a number by your name and that's what I'll use to pick the winner after the party! Cool, huh?
So will you come to my party? I hope so. You can take the little button below and put it on your blog if you'd like to help advertise.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'm joining Little Red House for Mosaic Monday,
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Let's Stay Together
I'm, I'm so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
Is alright with me
'Cause you make me feel, so brand new
And I want to spend my life with you
Me sayin' since, baby, since we've been together
Ooo, loving you forever
Is what I need
Let me, be the one you come running to
I'll never be untrue
Ooo baby
Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
Oooo oooo ooo ooo, yeah
Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad
Why somebody, why people break up
Oh, and turn around and make up
I just can't seeeeeeeee
You'd never do that to me
(Would you baby)
'Cause being around you is all I see
It's why I want us to
Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad
Let's, let's stay together
Loving you whether, whether
~ sung by Al Green

ReplyDeletePLease tell me where you found the bowls!!!! They are sweet and I could use them! Love the Roosters with them too, your vignettes are always perfect. Now, I am so bummed that I can't join your party: I do not have one single rooster:(:( I had one my son gave me but I gave it to my SIL who has roosters in her kitchen and REAL ones at her home!!!!!!!!! I will come visit your party though. XO, Pinky

ReplyDeleteAs always your songs bring back such happy memories! I can't wait to see what you're going to come up with next.
I can't join your party because, believe it or not, I don't own any chickens or roosters! I know I must be the only woman on the face of the earth that can say that. But I have been known to be the odd one out.
Have a beautiful Sunday, Shelia.
