Let me explain...
Just look at the top of my coffee table in the den...lots of tiny books. I think this will qualify for Tablescape Tuesday with Marty at A Stroll Thru Life, don't you? :)
Now don't adjust your glasses or your puter screen because these next few snaps are blurry...
Playing with her toys ~ wigglin'!
Just so you'll know, baby wigglin' causes baby dust and my house is filled with it! Baby dust!
Baby dust is a wonderful thing!
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Oh My Goodness it's going to take a long time to stop "SMILING" from this post! You are BEST GRAN EVER...I LOVE the hearth BUMPER! You are so clever! Oh yes this is a wonderful "Love Scape"!!! Your little Dumpling is "SO DARLING"!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy 4th of July...
Big Hugs,
Donna
hi Shelia, I'm visiting over from Marty's TT. Your little Carter's visit is like a visit from my just turned three grandson Connor. Same set up still going on, it takes a lot of prep work to get ready for their visit. We still cover the fireplace to make sure if he falls something comes between him and the fireplace. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does all this.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog.

I am betting you will miss the baby dust Sheila...she is such a doll face.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bundle of love that baby is! You must have had the best time. I love all your babyproofing. xo,
ReplyDeleteSo, so, cute! What wonderful memories you made with Carter!
ReplyDeleteSmiles,

Your little "dust depositer" is so precious. It looks like you had just a lovely visit with your girls. "Grands" are simply the best part of getting older -- that would be however old you happen to be when those special little gifts arrive!
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to hear about your SIL. Your family is in my prayers.

Hi Shelia, there's nothing any better than baby dust, with memories left behind. This is the cutest post, then again you had a great subject. Carter is so gorgeous..one precious little girl. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteSheila, she is so cute. She and Leila favor a lot with their blonde hair and blue eyes and little rolls of baby fat. I just love those rolls. I know you didn't mind at all making your house safe for her. Just what us Grands have to do.
ReplyDeleteBaby dust is magical! Carter is adorable. Grandmother is smitten!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie

ReplyDeleteShelia, I'm so jealous! Carter is so adorable and you got to enjoy her and all the baby dust she created while I'm missing my little Ewan so much and he's about the same age as Carter (9 months). Oh well, I may be making a trip to Alberta very soon to see my precious boy crawl around on all fours in real life. (I have seen him in action on Skype). I'm really happy for you! Have a great week. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteOh my dear, just enjoy this gorgeous baby, she's just so adorable, baby dust or not, who careas!! I just had a post with my oldest grandgirl, who's already 7 years old!! ReplyDeleteYAYNESS...you are back!
ReplyDeleteO, I KNOW the good time you had with your two girls.
From the first grandboy, 21 years ago, I had pillows lining my on the floor, brick hearth. And, with all 10 living close, my house was covered in baby dust for years...and I loved it!!:)
Sheila, she is just a beautiful baby!!!! How wonderful to have messes in your house because the little angel is there with you! Good idea to cover the hearth with a pretty quilt. Hope she comes to visit you again soon. Linda

You sound like me, Shelia! I also put a quilt over our brick fireplace hearth in the room where we do most of our hanging out. Mine is always on the move now, too, and what is the fascination with stairs???
ReplyDeleteAren't grandchildren wonderful! You certainly have a cutie! They always leave me exhausted - but happy. We're looking forward to one of our grandsons coming Saturday (with his Mom and Dad) to visit for a week. I can't wait!

Your little darlin' is just as cute as her little grandma! Did you know that? How wonderful that you had time with your precious grand baby, they don't stay that little for long.

What fun! She is a little doll! I came home from vacation to find baby dust all around my house! If you get a chance to read my blog post about coming home again you will understand why. It's a happy kind of dust - the kind we grammas don't mind at all!
