Sweets For All My Sweeties!

Hello, Dear Ones! I'm joining Our Dear Michael Lee at Designs by Gollum for Foodie Friday

Since it's almost Valentine's Day we always think of chocolates but I'm giving Mr. Precious something else...ice cream! :)

I'm fudging a bit...no recipe here but very good none the less! Banana Splits!! We love this stuff!!

I like to slice up the bananas into little wheels, much easier to eat this way. Poke down your little scoops of ice cream and add your toppings onto the ice cream ~ strawberry, pineapple and hot fudge. Now I looked my tiny head off for a jar of cherries and couldn't find one jar! I hate that! But I'm strong, I am woman and I will survive! Shoot!

Now the above bowl is for Mr. Precious - he likes whipped topping on his - not me.

I like my banana split - nekked (Texan for naked) Well, almost nekked...a little bit of toppings and a tiny sprinkling of walnuts! Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy.
I got love in my tummy,
And I feel like a-lovin you:
Love, you're such a sweet thing,
Good enough to eat thing
And that's just a-what I'm gonna do.
Ooh love, to hold ya,
Ooh love, to kiss ya,
Ooh love, I love it so.
Ooh love, you're sweeter,
Sweeter than sugar.
Ooh love, I wont let you go.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy,
I got love in my tummy,
And as silly as it may seem;
The lovin' that you re giving,
is what keeps me livin'
And your love is like
Peaches and cream.
Kind-a like sugar,
Kind-a like spices,
Kind-a like, like what you do.
Kind-a sounds funny.
But love,honey
Honey. I love you.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy,
I. got love in my tummy,
That your love can satisfy;
Love, you're such a sweet thing,
Good enough to eat thing
And sweet thing, that ain't no lie.
I love to hold ya,
Oh love, to kiss ya,
Ooh love, I love it so.
Ooh love, you're sweeter,
Sweeter than sugar.
Ooh love, I wont let you go.

  1. Cherries are over rated anyway. I am droolin' here... In a big way. And your photography is so superb you made it even more spectacular to resist.

I am thinking what do I have in this house that is sweet... maple syrup..thats all. Maybe I can dangle this photo in front of honeyman and he will go to the store to get the supplies to make this.

    Oh goodness...

  11. I LOVE ice cream and banana splits! I may just have to make one for my sweetie and me :-) My favorite ice cream is chocolate or anything with chocolate in it. Do you have the ice cream flavour called Banana Splitz down there? It's so good but only available at the ice cream parlour. Happy Valentine Day to you! Blessings, Pamela

  36. I haven't enjoyed a banana split for eons! I'm partial to the whipped cream and cherries, myself. Oh, and hot fudge instead of regular chocolate sauce. Highly caloric and yummy....
But the bananas would certainly be part of my healthy diet, wouldn't they?! LOL
