Playing With Sunshine

Hello, Dear Ones. Well, Note Songs cottage looks a little nekked (Texan for naked) now but I'm sure breathing a little more easily. Although I'm sure I'm still getting a bit of glitter sucked up into my most tiny pug nose! :)

I snapped these photos as the sun was peeping in through the window. I loved it!

Sunshine was playing and dancing all over the sofa! I wasn't supposed to tell you this but my sofa was giggling her head off. Well, her pillows anyway! :)

The sunshine was playing with my coffee table too and tickling the carpet! More giggles.

The little birdies on these plates began to sing a song of spring! I told them it wasn't spring yet but they could tweet love songs! They did too!

The sunshine continued to have fun shining and playing on my piano. The flowers were swaying and the keys began to play a song... 'Sing, sing a song...'

I just sat back and was amazed at all the joy the sunshine gave to my living room! I was quite enjoying myself too! You all know I'm a silly! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Sing A Song

Sing, sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things, not bad
Sing of happy, not sad.

Sing, sing a song
Make it simple
To last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
for anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.

Sing, sing a song
Let the world sing along
Sing of love there could be
Sing for you and for me.

Sing, sing a song
Make it simple
To last your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not good enough
for anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.
~ sung by The Carpenters

  12. Oh yes, you totally had me rocking the Carpenters song.
I love music!!!!!! I miss having my piano....I gave it to my son so he could give his daughter piano lessons. Maybe someday I will have one again.
and SUNSHINE....how it warms the body and soul.
The rays of sunshine are like little reminders of "hope" I think. gently trying to cheer up our worn out souls sometimes.
I adore the tall lamp standing beside the piano. so vintage looking.

  19. Oh, how I wish the sunshine would shine directly into my living room - and my kitchen. But, alas, it never will - cuz they face north. But...the Master Bedroom & Bath, Laundry Room, Pantry and Den all face south - so they get lots of sunshine! :)

Love your sunny photos and your sunny disposition!!

  23. Hi Sheila
With the sun shining in like that, it makes your sitting area look sooo cozy.
Long ago I had a piano book of the Carpenter's songs but it must have got lost in a move along the way. They had a great sound and I like Sing a Song.
