Clocheing with Marty

Hello, Dear Ones! Today I'm joining Our Dear Marty's Christmas Cloche Party at a Stroll Thru Life! Pop over to see her and your tiny eyes will be filled with wonderful clocheness!!

I have this little vignette set up in the living room.

I've placed a one piece musical Nativity under glass.

Here is a little Nativity set that is a wannabe Limoges box set.
But I love the sweetness of this little set and it's tiny. I love tiny.
So under a little clochie it goes! :)

Moving into the dining room I have some huge bottle brush trees
poked under a couple of cloches.

Here I have a sweet little snow couple under glass.
They're safe here and won't melt! :)

In the breakfast room I've set up a little cloche display on my tiny little hutch.

The center largest cloche holds a Santie ornie and a few little olden Christmas balls.
Ain't he cute? I think he's taking a break before the 'big night'! LOL

This cloche vignette was really hard to set up!
I had to lift the heavy cloche top off the stemmed base
and pick up a very heavy Christmas ball and place it inside
and then put that heavy top back on. Whew! :)

Then I turned around and did it again!
Oh, how strenuous this was! :)
You know I'm teasing!

Then on the very top shelf I placed this little bitty stemmed cloche
and placed three Christmas balls under the lid.
I'm so creative, don't you think? :)
Actually I ran out of tiny little things to poke under the cloches! :)

Thanks for popping in for a visit and hope you enjoyed seeing my Christmas cloche displays.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring
are you listening
in the lane
snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
we're happy tonight
walking in a winter wonderland
Gone away is the bluebird
here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song
as we go along
walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
we'll say: No man
But you can do the job
when you're in town
Later on
we'll conspire
as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
the plans that we've made
walking in a winter wonderland
In the meadow we can build a snowman
and pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman
until the all the kids knock him down
When it snows
ain't it thrilling
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play
the Eskimo way
walking in a winter wonderland
Walking in a winter wonderland
walking in a winter wonderland
~ sung by my Cloches

  24. Hello Shelia~you always amaze me with the creative elements you find to display in your cloches. The nativity has such a beautifully clever presentation. Thanks for sharing your inspiration.

We'll be cutting our Christmas tree from the backyard this weekend when my college boy is home. That's a sure way to get us in a festive mood.
Do you like playing Christmas music while decorating? For me the music brings a wonderful essence of the season to the air, as does the aromas of baking.

It's good to be back, I hope you get a chance to stop by for a visit.

    Sweet wishes,
    Sara

  25. O, how beautiful your cloches are singing Winter Wonderland...shhhh...let me listen....
ok, I'm back, you silly silly girl...:))

All of your cloches are just wonderful. Your NOTE SONGS COTTAGE is just ablaze with all the pretty Christmas decorations.
I just thought of it...you need to have Penny at the Comforts of Home make you a beautiful mosaic plaque with your cottage name and number to put on your beautiful porch. Wouldn't that be so pretty.

I shopped all day long and my olden body is ready for bed and it's only a little after 8....
    woe is me....

  52. The faux Limoges nativity scene is great! Trinket boxes are entertaining and practical decor, especially when you can use them year after year and they just become more special, like your set.
