I Missed You, Dear Ones!!

Oh, yes I have! Thank you all for your sweet comments to me while I was on my tiny break. I have missed you all so much but I had to take a blogging break because Mr. Precious had set up another cruise for us. I'm beginning to think retirement is a good thing ~ we've gone on three cruises this year!! Woo Hooness! I do believe I'm blessed.

Well, I wanted to see some leaves...not little green oak leaves or little green fern fronds...but Fallen Autumn leaves!! And I did! I did see some Fallen leaves of color!

Look...

Aren't these lovely snaps? Oh, I was in Fallen Autumn Leaves Heaven!
That's a good place to be.

We sailed on the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Sea. We flew to Boston to board the ship and sailed to Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine then to Saint John, Nova Scotia, Canada and then Halifax, New Brunswick, Canada. What a nice time we had so of course I wanted to share my trip with you.

Mr. Precious thought of a great thing to do. On two of our ports he had prearranged a rent car so we got off the ship and poodled around on our own in our tiny little car. Pretty cool, huh?

Gorgeousness of color.

Here we are looking cool because it was cool and we wore our coats! :)
Now, Mr. Precious doesn't take as good of snaps as I do ~ he wiggles!
Just so you'll know I'm not this fuzzy in real life! :)

This is the Bar Harbor Inn and we stayed here over twenty years ago when no cruise ships were stopping. It looked the same and look how pretty it is inside! Oh, sigh!!

So beautiful!

I'll shut up and let you look now...

Well, if you know me, you know I can't stay silent for very long ~ I was asked to join a special wedding party and I was happy to oblige! :)

See?
I didn't want to steal the show from the bride so I stood in the back!! :) Is she cute or what!!

We stayed here at the Kennebuckport Inn those 20 something years ago. I loved that place!

Then in Halifax we went to tour the living museum at the Citadel and I just had to share with you the cute little guys firing the gun. Mr. Precious loves this stuff.

Well, Dear Ones, I enjoyed my break but I'm glad to be home sitting in my chair and blogging.

Oh, no!!
Shoot!!

Now I have to start cooking and cleaning again! But, Dear Ones, my heart will go on as I think back and remember the sun setting in the west or was it the sun rising in the east? Oh, well... :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

My Heart Will Go On
(I couldn't resist this one ~ here's a hanky)

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on
~ sung by Celine Dion

  14. Hi Shelia!
Your trip looked wonderful! I loved looking at all your photos! We don't get colors like this in Southern California. Imagine a palm tree swaying in the wind instead!! LOL! Thankfully I do have a maple tree on my front lawn, and everyday I see the leaves falling on my lawn as they start to turn colors. I am the only one on my street that has one. Lucky me! I also read your Halloween post!! I enjoy all civil war history, and touring old cemeteries. Enjoyed the history of Mr. P's. lineage. How cool! Well... thank you for dropping by. Have a wonderful week! Hugs!

  29. Thanks for bringing back fun memories! We've been on that same trip except by car. My family was from Maine originally. I can still hear my grandfather's Maine accent even though he had lived in Colorado 40 years before I was born. He always said, "Ba Haba", for Bar Harbor! Love the Bar Harbor Inn. Glad your home safely. Sally
