Helloooo, Dear Ones! I've missed you so much. Did you figure out I was away? Yep, we took a little trip to Alaska...

Had a marvelous time and I'll share a little of that with you a little later on.

But before we sailed...

Grandma time!

We got to be with our little darling grand baby girl - Carter! She was so happy to see her Grandma - just look at that little face! I love this stuff!

We just ate her up with a spoon for a couple of days, then we sailed away. But guess what?

This little angel and our daughter are coming to Texas tomorrow to stay a week with us! We're so very excited! So bear with me because you know I'll be spending my time with my two gals.

Now I want to thank all of you who have come to see me and for your comments. I am going to read every one! I'll be popping in and out through this week and will start back to regular blogging next week. I love you and feel like I've been away from you for ever. You really have become my family!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

When I Fall In Love

When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love

In a restless world
Like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many
Moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun

When I give my heart
I give it completely
Or I'll never give my heart

And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you
~ sung by Nat King Cole

  1. Oh, I can't wait to hear all about your trip to Alaska. That's on our to-do list, probably after my sweetheart retires in a couple of years. Looking forward to seeing photos and hearing about your adventures.

Carter is a beautiful little girl. Have fun with your two girls. Don't worry about us - we'll be waiting here to hear all about it and see more pictures of your precious little one.

  14. First: your grandbaby is TOOOO cute! Look at those eyes! And they are coming to see you. How special!

Second: we ALMOST booked that SAME ship to Alaska. In late August, we're going to fly into Anchorage and rent a car and drive around. Denali for sure and all points inbetween.
How was the cruise? Just curious if we think we'd like to do one.

    Great post and welcome home!

I've been MIA (first with computer problems and then spotty blogging with my MIL and family here), but I saw your name pop up and wanted to say, "Welcome Home"!

You know that Carter is adorable. Oh, she is so cute! And I love her sweet smile. She reminds me of someone I know. :-)

Can't wait to hear about the trip, and I'm excited for you that you are going to be able to play with your girls.
