Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Lady in Red
I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance
Given half a chance
And I've never seen that dress you're wearing
Or that highlights in your hair
That catch your eyes
I have been blind
Lady in red is dancing with me
Cheek to cheek
There's nobody here
It's just you and me
It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight
I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright you were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled it took my breath away
And I have never had such a feeling such a feeling
Of complete and utter love, as I do tonight
Lady in red is dancing with me
Cheek to cheek
There's nobody here
It's just you and me
It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight
I never will forget the way you look tonight
The lady in red

I love you

I love the contrast of the white and red. And that tablecloth is just too sweet!
ReplyDeleteCome enjoy "Summer Sundays". We'd love to have you participate or just visit!
- The Tablescaper
Oh Shelia, this is just so pretty. I love your fabulous vintage tablecloth and your tureen and pitcher filled with the beautiful red flowers look so beautiful and cheery. Of course you know I absolutely adore your roosters. They are just the cutest ever. Thanks so much for joining TTT. I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI agree the faux are an easier way of life and I too love the tureen. ~Shelley
ReplyDeleteOhhh! I'm tickled that you came and joined "SUMMER SUNDAYS"!!!! Your little yards birds fit right in. Remember, it's all about what summer means to YOU!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteAll I gotta say is cuteness of cuteness! I love your faux reds with your white roosters. Very pretty.
Love the song, "Lady In Red."
hugs
Sissie
Very nice summery vignette!
ReplyDeleteIt's "cottage perfect", Shelia! And you know that's about the best compliment one can get!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
A very festive table. Being a country girl of course I love the roosters. And the contrast between red and white - gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me different memes and parties I was unaware of.
Your comment about Romper Room started a discussion here and I had to do some research online.

Love your olden tablecloth! This setting has a happy, perky feel to it-enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove that ole tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful vignette!
You have created such a pretty contrast with the white roosters and the red roses!
Bravo my friend!
Cindy
Thanks for visiting me. I love your red and white. Your lighting is so great inside. I am still learning. I spent some time with your other blog too. So much information. Thanks for making it a little easier for us newbies. Have a wonderful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as though you are getting a head start on the rooster party later on this summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Applejack Lane today. I am continuing the saga of Kahlo so my daughter can see what he is up to while she is in Iceland!
Sheila, I love all your faux thorny roses, too and I love all my faux flowers and gotta love them yard birds for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteSheila, you have such beautiful taste. The red is striking and stunning. I loooove that big white pitcher. And your tablecloth is gorgeous under your vignette. I do love how you post all that's going on in blogland - Laura's votes, Sorority clubs, etc. Without you, I wouldn't be in the know! I'd be blogging blindly.
ReplyDeleteA sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm. Thanks so very much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment. I just love that little tablecloth with the sweet flowers all over it. You know, I used to stick my nose up at faux flowers but have started to change my mind about them. They add color and dimension to our little tablescapes and vignettes - and some of the faux flowers that I've seen recently look very real, so real that I've had to go over to touch them to make sure! Ciao, bella!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me, I love the white porcelain roosters, very sweet.
Fer
beautiful display!
ReplyDeleteI think your roosters look swell with those ribbons -- almost tame. And Lady in Red -- a fave of mine! Thanks for stopping by. Jane F.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Sheila! Your faux flowers look almost real. I like the all white china pieces and rossters with the color red.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday!
♥ Pat
Shelia, I love your "faux-ness", your roosters, and your red/white theme! I see nothing wrong with using something other than the "real" florals. And you know they last a whole lot longer than the real thing in my house- remember- I'm the one with the brown thumb! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh, and that tablecloth is adorable too! hugs, Sue
So glad that your yard birds are still out and about strutting their stuff and not stuffed in a box somewhere! Love your pretty reds and whites and lovely tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteLovely roosters and flowers tablescape.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red and white! Lovely linens. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your whiteness of Roosters and Redness of flowers! Trish
ReplyDeleteBeautyness in all Shelia...love the white and red...I've just starting really liking those "olden" tablecloths...I guess another collection is calling my name!!!
ReplyDeleteSheila, Don't you love white pieces? And roosters? So when you combine both and have white roosters... I just swoon! These darlings are real treasures. And you can do so much with them, because they are white. I love the little finals they are perched on.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet! You certainly have something to crow about!
Yvonne
Sheila,
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Love the fabric of the tablecloth!
Robin

Another fabulous vignette ... the thing that I love with your presentations, Shelia, is that you can take one treasure & make it appear into treasureS so many times over. The colors & table covering are so warm & welcoming.
