Roosters and Roses

Hello, Dear Ones! Oh, I just love to play, don't you? I've set up a little vignette on my tiny little table in my breakfast room. Roosters and Roses!

I've laid down some of my white pieces and added some redness of flowers. Summer time coolness.

Now a few weeks ago I showed you my tiny little china cabinet in here and it was Rooster free! Just so you'll know some of my Roosters didn't go far! After all, I love the yard birds! :)

Smallness of white Rooster!

Biggerness of white Rooster!

I have this very small tureen that I took the lid off of and added some pretty redness of flower.

Then my big pretty white pitcher filled will redness of roses ~ fauxnes of roses!

Just gotta love my redness of faux roses. Can you love little redness of faux roses? Well, you bet your ouchy thorn pricks you can! :) Oh, I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again ~ I love my fauxs and my fauxs love me!

A special mosaic filled with fauxness! :) I just love this stuff! Summer coolness of fauxs!

I've put a small olden tablecloth on my table. It's just covered with the sweetness of little flowers! :)

There you have it! My tiny table dressed with whiteness of Roosters and Redness of flowers! :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Lady in Red

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance
Given half a chance
And I've never seen that dress you're wearing
Or that highlights in your hair
That catch your eyes
I have been blind

Lady in red is dancing with me
Cheek to cheek
There's nobody here
It's just you and me
It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright you were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled it took my breath away
And I have never had such a feeling such a feeling
Of complete and utter love, as I do tonight

Lady in red is dancing with me
Cheek to cheek
There's nobody here
It's just you and me
It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never forget the way you look tonight

I never will forget the way you look tonight
The lady in red
lady in red
Lady in red
My lady in red
I love you
~ sung by Chris DE Burch

  13. Sheila, you have such beautiful taste. The red is striking and stunning. I loooove that big white pitcher. And your tablecloth is gorgeous under your vignette. I do love how you post all that's going on in blogland - Laura's votes, Sorority clubs, etc. Without you, I wouldn't be in the know! I'd be blogging blindly.

  14. A sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm. Thanks so very much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment. I just love that little tablecloth with the sweet flowers all over it. You know, I used to stick my nose up at faux flowers but have started to change my mind about them. They add color and dimension to our little tablescapes and vignettes - and some of the faux flowers that I've seen recently look very real, so real that I've had to go over to touch them to make sure! Ciao, bella!

  18. Shelia, I love your "faux-ness", your roosters, and your red/white theme! I see nothing wrong with using something other than the "real" florals. And you know they last a whole lot longer than the real thing in my house- remember- I'm the one with the brown thumb! LOL
Oh, and that tablecloth is adorable too! hugs, Sue
