Hello, Dear Ones. I usually don't do tags or games anymore at my blog, but I played this game because I never have played it before and because my sweet friend, Trish, at Homemade Quilts By Granny asked me to. If you've not met Trish, pop on over to visit with her a bit and tell her I sent you!
There you have my 6th photo from my beginnings of blogging. Now the rules are to pass this along to 10 friends. I just don't do that any more. But if you want to play, be my guest. It is fun to see what we come up with and how our photography skills have improved. I hope mine has.
Thanks for popping in to see me today and...
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Won't You Be My Neighbor?
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...
It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...
I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.
So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?
~ sung by Mr. Rogers

Hi Sheila
ReplyDeleteThe house is so pretty. I will go back to that post and read it sometime. I would be so interested to see your olden district.
Thanks for your comment about Knaresborough. I actually though of you on the way there when I saw a road sign for Otley. I expect you already know what my next post will be all about. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Shelia~ what a charming house. I adore the history that's created within the walls of a home. I still have to take in the thought we've been in our home for over 27 years and counting. Hubs, kitty and I ramble around this old empty house, waiting patiently for it to be filled again.
ReplyDeleteNow your walls will be filled with the joys of your precious Chole.
My son and DIL have a(small)but possible chance of moving back to our area from Seattle. It's difficult for me to travel, so if they were closer it would be wonderful.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
What a beautiful house...I would love to sit out on the deck and have a diet Pepsi and chat the afternoon away with YOU! Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house, just my type!....Christine
ReplyDeleteOh Shelia
ReplyDeleteDo you know that Mrs. Magpie asked me to be her neighbour? She wrote this same note song that you have here.
LOVE IT
I would love to be your neighbour...what a hoot that would be... I know, let's all gather our favourite bloggers and buy the street. OMG wouldn't that be fun??? I've got my thinking cap on don't I?
Love You

Good morning Sheila!
ReplyDeleteOh how I adore that lovely home.....isn't it wonderful? Kind of like a wedding cake house..
And, didn'tcha just love Mr. Rogers? We sing that little song around here once in awhile. He was such a nice man.
Huggies!
Spencer
Well, at least you had a good pic for your 6th. With my luck it would have been a before shot of the basement! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend...I bet you are yearning to hold that sweet baby!
I've been so behind on reading the past two weeks, but wanted to tell you that the photo of you with your baby granddaughter is just the sweetest! She's so pretty, and so are you.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing this old house too. My aunt lives in an old house, and although it's had lots of work, the floors are still a little crooked and there are other quirks, but I just love it. The character of these houses are just wonderful.
Have a great weekend.
Blessings,
Marcia
Hi Sheila, Oh that house is simply gorgeous. What memories must have been made within those walls.

Congrats on your new grandchild. You are a beautiful and young grandmother. Beautiful pic of you all in the bathroom. Love it!
Thank you for stopping by and your kind words. It is always special when you visit. Have a wonderful weekend.
