Come Sail Away With Me!

Hello, Dear Ones! I'm so excited to tell you ~ we're really not here! We're not at home but we are really here ~

We're on The Queen Mary 2! This is Mr. Precious' gift to himself ~ and me ~ for starting the new chapter in his life! I'm not supposed to say these words, but I will just in case you don't know ~ Mr. Precious has just retired! Shh...I only said the word 'retired' so you'd know.

Now, we're sailing from New York and should be sailing out of Brooklyn cruise terminal and passing the Lady herself! Oh, please place your tiny hand over your most 'thankful to be an American' heart!

Now you just might find me in the library ~ 8,000 books! Yes, I may just be in here.

Or, you may find me...

For sure you're going to find me in here...feeding my tiny face. Which, by the way, won't stay tiny for very long! :)
Oh, I'm sure we're having a wonderful time on our voyage! I'll be back with lots of stories and you know how I love to tell you tiny stories. I'll have some pictures too!

So ta ta for now, Dear Ones.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

If I Had A Boat

If I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

If I were Roy Rogers
I'd sure enough be single
I couldn't bring myself to marrying old Dale
It'd just be me and trigger
We'd go riding through them movies
Then we'd buy a boat and on the sea we'd sail

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

The mystery masked man was smart
He got himself a Tonto
'Cause Tonto did the dirty work for free
But Tonto he was smarter
And one day said kemo sabe
Kiss my ass I bought a boat
I'm going out to sea

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

And if I were like lightning
I wouldn't need no sneakers
I'd come and go wherever I would please
And I'd scare 'em by the shade tree
And I'd scare 'em by the light pole
But I would not scare my pony on my boat out on the sea

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
And if I had a pony
I'd ride him on my boat
And we could all together
Go out on the ocean
Me upon my pony on my boat

  4. Oh my gosh,
    Congrats sweetie...
I am so thrilled for you. I can't wait to hear all your stories and see all your wonderful pictures. How very exciting.

Now I have to know, did you get seasick? Could you tell you were moving? I have always wanted to go on a cruise, but I get carsick, so am afraid that I would never be able to go on a cruise.

Have a wonderful time, and enjoy yourselves. Life is to short not to do some things fun in life.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  48. My friend from first grade and her husband sailed also from New York in Jan. for a cruise to end in April but sadly had to cut short their trip in Hong Kong because of her husband's need of back surgery....they flew home the day the sunami hit Japan.

I'm enjoying my afternoon of perusing your blog.
