PLease Forgive Me! :)

Hello, Dear Ones! Now I must tell you...I really try to be a very nice lady in Blogland - trying not to offend, or be rude and especially not crude. But I'm getting ready for a garage sale this Friday and Saturday and we'll be trying to sell off Mother's things - things she just doesn't need nor have room for anymore. I say all of that to say this - I'll not be able to post for a few days but wanted to leave you with something so you won't forget about me.

You love me, don't you? You won't think I'm awful will you?

I just want you to laugh...

Saw this in Alaska and tried my best to get Mr. Precious to buy it, but no no Nannette, he would not! Is this a hoot or what? Hope you still love me! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a litte Note Song~

I'm Too Sexy

I'm too sexy for my love too sexy for my love
Love's going to leave me

And I do my little turn on the catwalk
Yeah on the catwalk on the catwalk yeah
I shake my little touche on the catwalk

I'm too sexy for my too sexy for my too sexy for my

'Cos I'm a model you know what I mean
And I do my little turn on the catwalk

And I'm too sexy for this song

Dreaming of Babies!

Hello Dear Ones! Most of you know I'm going to be a grandmother for the first time and I'm just in ELATION HEAVEN! This is very exciting and I find myself thinking, longing and dreaming about my grand baby to be. So what's a blogger grandmother to be to do? Post babies, that's what!

So I'm joining Dear Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday and Dear Sally at Smiling Sally for Blue Monday.

Will we have a little boy? Oh, just look at all the preciousness of little boys!

Or we could have a tiny little girl. Just look at all the adorableness of little sweet girls!

Little boy?

Or little girl?

You know I don't think it's going to matter. I'll take either one! :)

My thanks to Dear Sally and Dear Mary for hosting these great Monday events.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

No Greater Love

Before I knew Your Name,
You knew my ev’ry breath.
Before I found my way,
You knew my ev’ry step.
Before I knew everything that I need,
You gave it all to me.

No greater love than this…
That You should lay down Your life
For someone such as me;
I’d spend a lifetime wondering why.
The Beauty of Heaven
Is here in my heart
And I know there can be
No greater love than this.

I never understood
How merciful Love could be,
Until I felt His Flame
Light every part of me
And I would give everything that I am
’ Cause I have been saved;
Yes, I have been saved!

No greater love than this…
That You should lay down Your life
For someone such as me;
I’d spend a lifetime wondering why.
The Beauty of Heaven
Is here in my heart
And I know there can be
No greater love.

The Beauty of Heaven
Is here in my heart
And I know there can be
No greater love...
For someone such as me.
No greater love...than this.

Tablescape Thursday

Hello Thursday Ones!! and welcome to Tablescape Thursday! There are many of us who just love our dishes and love to set pretty tables. This all started with our very own Susan at Betweennaps on the Porch. She has so many beautiful dishes and can really set a table that will knock your socks off! Go check out her displays and sign up and join us if you wish.

Okay, today I'm taking you into my breakfast room to show you my little tablescape! My table is clothed with a light yellow tablecloth with matching napkins. I do love my dishes! Can you love dishes? You bet your plates, saucers and cups you can! :)

The pattern is called Blue Bird by Dario Farrucci. Here is the little salad plate sitting atop the dinner plate.

The dinner plate...

I love the squareness of the dinner plates! It's hip to be square! That's a song, you know...

This surely must be the Blue Bird of happiness! For me today, it is!

Here is a close up of the napkins and the napkin rings. The color is not this gold - really it's a soft yellow.

Yellow and red...aww...

In the center of my table sits a cloche filled with hydrangea blooms. The cloche is sitting on a footed cakeplate.

I have placed a few little faux berries on just one side of the cake plate.

The loveliest of colors...for autumn!

It's always nice to have a little candlelight! Since my table is so small, I've used these little round candles.

These little candles have a very nice scent, too. Can you smell the aroma? sniff sniff...
I love these little salt and peppers. Again, can you love salt and peppers? You bet your don't worry about those swollen ankles you can! They do not belong to this set of dinnerware, but I think they look perfectly sweet sitting here. The salt and peppers are called Global by Fitz and Floyd.

Now look at the shape of the bowls, they're almost footed!! I love these, don't you? I know you can love bowls!

Now if my tablescape was not Fallen enough for you, maybe this one will be! I've place a different little gourd into each bowl.

Aren't these little gourds just adorable? I purchased them from my local grocery store and would love to dry them and hopefully be able to use them for years to come. Does anyone know anything about drying gourds?

I exchanged my little round candles for my precious little artichoke votives. I just love these!! I love just about everything, don't I?
These are so cute, I thought I would show the other one to you!I hoped you've enjoyed my tablescape today in my little breakfast room! Please come back again and maybe next Thursday - I'll serve you some food!! ;P

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia
P. S. This is really a tablescape from last year! It's been one of those weeks! ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Blue Bird, Bring Back My Happiness

Blue Bird,I confess,
That I love your story;
You bring hapiness with your melody.
Tell me, is it true, or an allegory?
Blue Bird, can you bring back to me?
The treasure trove, the perfect love, the days that used to be;
The tenderness of each caress, my happiness to me?
Blue Bird, carry my happiness back to me.
Blue Bird, you've heard me call;
won't you answer to my pleading?
Fly high, into the sky; o'er the land;
o'er the sea.Blue Bird, go bring back my happiness;
Bring back my sweetheart to me
Bue Bird, can it be,You are love's tale bearer?
Do you hear the plea of two heart apart?
Do you fill the need, make their world seem fairer?
Carry love seed from heart to heart?
If this is so, then Blue Bird go, and sing your melody;
Below, above, go bring the love,
I'm dreaming of, to me?

Still Fallin' Around

Hello, Dear Ones! I'm joining Rhondi at Rose Colored Glasses today for a Fallen Party! Make sure you pop over to see all who have Fallen today!

Well, I am a bit embarrassed but my house has been Fallin' around! It's that time of year. So let's start at my Fallen front doors...

Yes, I know, it's pitiful! Last year I made this two wreaths for my front doors.

Oh, before we go in, look at my mailbox. I found this cute little Fallen sign to hang on it. It's shameful, isn't it? Wonder what the mailman thinks about my Fallen mailbox?

Now we're in the entry ( I showed it to you yesterday). But alas! My entry is Fallen too. What's a home owner to do? Well, there is a little wreath hanging on my very olden coat rack. Actually, I've cheated ~ this is really a little candle ring. I'm very clever, don't you think? :) I think I'm a Fallen Woman!

Okay now I will take you into the breakfast room! Oh, my goodness! My breakfast room has been Fallin' around too! I guess I'm just going to have to accept my Fallen breakfast room. Just look at her!

Here is my little hutch, my favorite play toy! She's a Fallen woman too! Pray for her.

If you visit me much you know how I love my dishes. I'm beginning to run out of room for all of my dishes.

I've used the top of my Fallen hutch to store some of my dishes. I have a basket filled with dishes and others that are just stacked! It helps a bit even if my hutch is shamefully Fallen.

I'm just loving making mosaics and have made one to show you all of my shameful Fallen things on the shelves.

I hate to say this, even though my hutch is Fallen, she sure is cute! :)

Good grief! Look at my table - completely Fallen! I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I'll just have to show you what's been going on. There faux apples and pears under a cloche.

There seems to have been some adjustments ~ I like this better even if it is Fallen. Some rafia is tied about the little knob and now it really does look more Fallen. Don't you think? I see some little florals added too!
I wanted to show you what I found at Marshalls for $3! This precious little Rooster dish with tiny knife! Isn't this cute? I just love a bargain!

Now if you visit me very often you know when you come into my kitchen you're going to see Roosters! And that is with a capital "R". My Rooster is laughing because the hens have been squawking looking at that pumpkin and wondering what someone laid that one! :)

Well, for evermore! My pantry doors are Fallen too! Can you believe it? Never mind, let's just go on into the kitchen. We've really been in the kitchen all along, I just have little sections! :)

More Falleness! My Rooster plate has seemed to hook up with some pumpkins!

Even more Falleness! Here's a little corner in the kitchen that has completely become Fallen!

You might want to close your tiny eyes ~ this cloche is so Fallen and you can see right through it!

Oh, I feel a little better now. This is not a Fallen plate. Hi sweetness.

Shoot! I spoke too soon! My sweet plate has betrayed me and she's up and joined the Fallen crowd! Just look at that Rooster and those tiny Fallen fruits! For shame!

I think I can see more clearly now since we're standing by the window. My little white Roosters are so fresh ~ and FALLEN! How could they do this to me? They've allowed Fallen pumpkins to join them on the windowsill.

Oh, my counters are just filled with Fallen objects! Look! More Roosters and pumpkins. Do you see the cute little yellow Rooster creamer? I've been watching a Brady Bunch Marathon (...everybody's smilin' sunshine day!) excuse me ~ and I saw one that looked very similar to mine sitting on their breakfast room table. But there kitchen was certainly not Fallen!

For shame ~ the nerve ~ the Falleness! How could you little yellow Rooster creamer!

I don't even know if I can speak anymore, well type, my kitchen has completely betrayed me! It is completely Fallen. My kitchen has been Fallin' around! Really my entire downstairs has been Fallin' around! I guess I have to admit it to you ~ I am actually the one who's been Fallin' around and I love it!

If you'd like to see more of my Fallen home just look at the following post! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Runaround Sue

Here's my story, its sad but true
It's about a girl that I once knew
She took my love then ran around
With every single guy in town
Ah, I should have known it from the very start
This girl will leave me with a broken heart
Now listen people what I'm telling you
A-keep away from-a Runaround Sue
I miss her lips and the smile on her face
The touch of her hair and this girl's warm embrace
So if you don't wanna cry like I do
A-keep away from-a Runaround Sue
Ah, she likes to travel around
She'll love you but she'll put you down
Now people let me put you wise
Sue goes out with other guys
Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I fell in love and my love still grows
Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say
Keep away from-a Runaround Sue
She likes to travel around
She'll love you but she'll put you down
Now people let me put you wise
Sue goes out with other guys
Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I fell in love and my love still grows
Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say
Keep away from-a Runaround Sue
