Hope you like my Christmas mantle.
Be a bunch of Christmas sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
We Need a Little Christmas
Haul out the holly,
Put up the tree before
My spirit falls again
Fill up the stocking,
I may be rushing things,
But deck the halls again now.
For we need a little Christmas,
Right this very minute,
Candles in the window,
Carols at the spinet,
Yes, we need a little Christmas,
Right this very minute,
It hasn't snowed a single flurry,
But Santa, dear, we're in a hurry.
So climb down the chimney,
Turn on the brightest string
Of lights I've ever seen,
Slice up the fruitcake,
It's time we hung some tinsel
On that evergreen bough.
For we need a little music,
Need a little laughter,
Need a little singing,
Ringing through the rafter,
And a little snappy
Happy ever after,
Need a little Christmas now.
For I've grown a little leaner,
Grown a little colder,
Grown a little sadder,
Grown a little older,
And I need a little angel
Sitting on my shoulder,
Need a little Christmas now.
~sung by my mantle
Put up the tree before
My spirit falls again
Fill up the stocking,
I may be rushing things,
But deck the halls again now.
For we need a little Christmas,

Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteIt is a GORGEOUS Christmas mantle!! Love all the ribbons and sparkle. Yes, those little trees are just perfect!!!! Hope you are having a great Tuesday!♥
Shelia, this mantle is stunning. How beautiful the trees are and the ribbon. Ribbon gives a finished look and yours is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAll is Calm. All is Bright.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' it. Girly...you are soo very talented. I'm inspired AND impressed.
Don't you just love Hobby Lobby? Wonderfully blessed Christian Company that is Oklahoma based! Whoo Hoo!
xoRebecca
I love those trees! I use a lot of light greens in my Christmas decor too. Your mantle is fabulous and the ribbon gives it so much movement and drama. Wired ribbon is one of best inventions ever as far as I'm concerned!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dawn
Dear Shelia,
ReplyDeleteMay you have a blessed Christmas Season! Sure hope you're regaining your strength and feeling so much better.
You have beautiful decorations and I'm so glad you shared. I so enjoy seeing how others decorate and deck the Halls.
God bless,
d
It's a beautiful and festive mantle Shelia. I can tell you don't have a kitten (like Magic) with those lovely trees balanced on the crystal candle holders! That's a great way to give them height. I love that last photo that you snapped from the floor because I can see your pretty fire screen - which appears to be leaded glass - how very pretty & sparkly for Christmas! I surely am enjoying all your pretties.
ReplyDeleteOh Sheila, that mantle is so beautiful. Love the trees on the candlesticks. I'm so jealous, I don't have a mantle and I don't live near a Hobby Lobby. sniff sniff.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Chris
Shelia, your mantle is so pretty. I love the trees and the sparkly little reindeer. It all looks so pretty up against that brick. Oh, and I love your leaded glass fireplace screen - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to scan back and find pictures of your dining room. I remember that it's green and I really liked it. We want to redo our dining room and can't decide between a green or another shade of creamy yellow. My husband is tired of my yellows...he's voting for green. I'm stuck in a state of complete indecision. :) It's a fun process though.
Oh Pickle, its just beautiful my friend...Love all the wire ribbon its so much fun to work with....now those trees you should just send them me me...Hey we don't have a Hobby Lobby here is Ca. so send them to me and no one gets hurt ha ha!! Sorry I haven't been around girl...all this snow didn't like my power line up here on my mountain top...Oh the joys of living in the woods ha ha!! May you have a great day Pickle and get up off the floor ha ha!! Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Haven't looked on the internet though! Just in the stores! I love your mantle! I saw those trees last year! Glad you got them because your mantle is beautiful! Just wanted you to know how much I personally appreciate you getting down on the floor and getting that shot! We just got back last night from San Antonio! First time to Texas for me! I loved it!!! I suppose we'd probably all hang from the rafters to get that perfect snapshot! I would! I love your mantle, and those Hobby Lobby trees are precious. Too bad I didn't see them last year. This year I've vowed to spend no money. But after Xmas, I guess that I can go in there and look!
ReplyDeleteBrenda

ReplyDeleteI like your soft red and lime green mantle, Shelia.
ReplyDeleteSheila, Your mantel is fabulous!!! And I LOVE the Christmas trees! They resemble Wedgewood pieces to me! I can see why they spoke to you so! :) They would have had to come home with me, too! :) ~hugs, Rhonda
ReplyDeleteShelia....are you still on the floor? I just ask because you didn't mention getting up...which I realize is the difficult part!!

Oh, Shelia! It is absolutely gorgeous, and yes, I love those litle "marzipan" trees, the way you elevated everything, the cute, sparkly reindeer, the garland (are those little hearts???), the ribbon, and the whole effect! Just beautiful. I also like how your mirror gives it extra play. You did well, dearest one. Very shiny, indeed! :-)
