Happy Thanksgiving Tablescape

Hello, Dear Ones! I am joining our Dear Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday and all the other Dishaholics in The Land of Blog.

I want to wish you all a very happy happy Thanksgiving. I'm sharing my Thanksgiving table with you today. I've been cooking all day and wasn't able to take any pictures until tonight so there's rather a golden hue on all my photos. But hey, golden is Fallen, don't you think? Golden is the color of Thanksgiving! :)

I'm using a mixture of dishes from Johnson Brothers that so many of you have - Autumn Monarch and His Majesty.

Don't you just love this tray? Can you love turkey trays? You bet your giblet gravy you can! :)

It seems I always have to have a little cutie on my tables. Will he do? :)

Here you're looking at my Little Richard (olden buffet) with Fallen all over it and I'm showing you this photo because I have these two little new pictures with the spoons and forks I wanted you to see.
Have a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends and may we all be filled with praise for our God who loves us so much that He died for us.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Life of Praise

I will love You, Lord always
Not just for the things You've done for me
And I will praise You all my days
Not just for the change You've made in me
But I'll praise You for You are holy, Lord
And I'll lift my hands, but You are worthy of so much more

For You are awesome, God of the Nations,
Lion of Judah, Rock of the Ages, Alpha, Omega
You're worthy of all praise
More than these hands I'll raise
I'll live a life of praise
I'll live a life of praise

I will serve You, Lord always, for You are my strength
When I am weak
I will never be afraid for You are my rock and You protect me
But I'll praise You for You are holy, Lord
And I'll lift my hands, but You are worthy of so much more

  1. Yea! I loved seeing your table, Shelia, and I am in love with your turkey dishes. They are so pretty, and I like your pilgrims and that turkey PLATTER! Love it!

I can't find my platter. I know this sounds terrible, but I can't. I got it for my birthday, and it is MIA. Shhhhh... don't tell Mr. Magpie. ;-) It is white, and I love it...but it is AWOL right now. No matter because we are dining OUT! He's taking me on a date.

Speaking of birthdays, I hope yours went well and that you got everything your heart desired. Some day, my heart's desire is to meet you in person. That would be such fun!

Okay, it's time for me to go to bed, so I will end by saying I hope that the Lord blesses you and all of the ones you love mightily, Shelia. May your Thanksgiving and your Tablescape Thursday both be happy.

Sending you much love across the miles...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  36. YOU are becomming Grandparents for the very first time! Now, don't forget to lavish attention on those Granddogs..you wouldn't want them to get jealous of the wee one! :) CONGRATULATIONS!

Yesterday at my daughters home we had about 30 people for dinner and out of five Greats, only one was there. Needless to say, the adults (even the Grands are all grown now) were enchanted with our baby girl who ran everywhere wore her 17 month old self out! Can you imagine having all that attention? The other are all back East...
Anyway, I am so happy for you! You are going to make such a wonderful Grandmother. My children are not becoming Grandparents and it is so much fun to watch them with their first Grandchildren.
What a day it all was...and now on to Christmas!
And...your tablescape is fantastic! Just fantastic!! :)
    Hugs,
    Mona
