Tablescape Thursday - a Little Sweetness

Hello, Dear Ones and welcome again to Tablescape Thursday hosted by our most wonderful Susan at Between Naps on the Porch! Please pop over to see her and visit more dishaholics! We do love our disease! :)

Today I'd like to show you a sweet little table. I think it's sweet and we'll have more sweetness in the breakfast room today. Come along!

I'm using my dishes called "Butterfly Meadows" by Lenox. I received some for Christmas and I've been finding more and more little pieces at Ross and Marshalls! I love those discount stores! Can you love Ross and Marshalls discount stores? Well, you bet your pennies saved you can!

I've started off with these sweet little bowls. To me these little bowls look like berry bowls. What do you think? Regardless, they are so sweet...of course there are sweet little butterflies on the inside and some of the bowls have a soft green band on the outside...

...and some have a sweet little yellow band. Oh, and little lady bugs are crawling all around. It's okay...they won't jump off in your food! :)

Continuing the layering comes a bigger salad or dessert bowl ~ again with pretty flowers and just the right amount of little critters to make you smile! Are you smiling yet?

Now on to the salad/desert plates...more flowers and critters.
Now the dinner plates in two designs...so sweet, don't you think?

All these sweet little dishes are sitting upon the pretty mossy green chargers! Where did I find these? Marshalls!! :)

Here are the darling salt and peppers! Now if you know me you know how I love my little salt and peppers. Can you love little salt and peppers? You bet your little salty critters you can! :)

Just look how sweet...a tiny little lady bug sitting on top. Smile sweetie! :)

Layering. Don't you just love sweet layerings of dishes? If your a dishaholic you sure do love it!

I'm using my olden (not to be confused with antiques) crystal stemware. So pretty and sparkly! I just love sparkly! Can you...I won't even say it! Just trust me! :)

For our intimate little dinner I'm using my teeny tiny little butter dish. Isn't she just darling? Yes, she is!

My very much used olden silverware and battenburg lace napkins.

I know fall is coming so I had to use my milk glass footed bowl with my white roses just one more time for a sweet centerpiece.

Add a little sweet candle light in votive cups of blue and green and there you have it...sweetness all over the place!

Aw...
...fauxs. You know what I always say! I love my fauxs and my fauxs love me! :) Yep, I do!

All of my tiny sweetnesses are sitting atop a round crocheted doily. It doesn't hang over the table tops edge but I think it works very nicely or should I say sweetly!

Thank you for joining me today for Tablescape Thursday! I love Thursdays, I love our Hostess with the Mostess ~ Dear Susan and I love all of you, my sweeties!! :)

Now have I told you I'm going to be a grandmother? :) You can bet I'll keep reminding you! :)

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;) Shoot!! I've lost my blog list again. I hate it when this happens!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

My Love, Sweet Love

My love, sweet love
With you, nothing else matters
You're my heart, and my heart is yours
My love, sweet love
For me, there's no one better
Cross my heart, I could not love you more

And I swear to you, there's no one more important
And I trust you with my life
So I pledge my heart to you

'Cause with you, my world
Is filled with so much pleasure
When I'm blind, you are my eyes
So I pledge my trust to you

And I swear to you
That I will always love you
And I trust you with my heart
So I pledge my world
I pledge my world, I pledge my world to you
~sung by Patti La Belle and my sweet dishes

  7. Hello you!!

The birds eye view of the table lets the layers of plates and bowl look like a rose and then you have the bowl of roses. I love it. And I love those sweet dishes. Remember, we both have them, well I just have a few (pssst, I think they are by Lenox)

I am so happy to see a pre~autumn tablescape because we have quite some time before the holidays and we will run out of ideas if we start Fall already. Well, maybe not those with gobs of dishes in a hidden closet! lol!! However, I do love your pretty new Fall header!!
Do I hear there will be a baby in the family? Sorry if I missed this most important post!! Congratulations to all of you!!

    xoxo

  25. Hi Shelia...now if those chargers turn up missing...I have no idea what happened to them. And if you see some similar ones in a week or two in a tablescape at my house, I'm sure that will purely be by accident. OK? :-)
Your china is adorable and all the little buggies are so cute. I don't think I'd even mind if they did jump in a take a wee bite of the food! And yes, (whisper) I'll say it...you can definitely love sparkly...your stemware is stunning! Another delightful tablescape from a dear friend who always makes me smile! :-)
