Tablescape Thursday

Hello, Dear Ones and welcome again to Tablescape Thursday hosted by our Dear Dish Diva of Tablescapes, Susan at Between Naps on the Porch.

Between dirty laundry and getting back into the swing of life I didn't have time to set up a tablescape of my own. So I grabbed a couple of my favorite table setting books and took a few photos to share. That is legal, isn't it? ;)
I love this book - The Perfect Setting - and will show you just a few snaps from it...
First, every time I look at this page I think of our Debbie with her love of Quimper Ware. So Frenchy!
This lovely setting looks as if Charles Faudree has been here. Are those his little spaniels? Do you think this is the fare those puppies are about to partake? Soup, crusty rolls and wine! Just what the puppies ordered! Or was it those sheep in the window who ordered the wine? I think their tiny lips are sealed! ;)

I think this table is so elegant! Nothing like blue and white! Just look at the beautiful tablecloth and the centerpiece is the salad!
More blue and white with a down home country theme. See the white quilt as the tablecloth and I do believe those are tea towels used as placemats, don't you? Easy and darling centerpiece!
More elegant white with just a hint of color in the flowers.
Here's another of my favs - Table Settings (Special Touches for Entertaining).

Gorgeous tray set with tea things! A variety of dishes have been used and look at the sweet cup as the vase for the Baby's Breath! Oh, I love this. Don't miss the softly colored green place mat with lace edging on the tray. Oh, I love this! Can you love 'this' you ask? Why of course you can love 'this'! You bet your dog eared pages you can love 'this'!
This reminds me of Mary at Little Red House! She has so many pretty dishes from her mother.

This photo reminds me of ME! I love my little crystal and cut glass pieces! Now if I could just have those napkins and maybe that beautiful chair... :)

I'm sorry for cheating today, but I had to miss last week and that made me miss seeing all of your dish play AND I didn't want to be left out! So here's a little bit of a cheating tablescape.

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Little Girl

Hey, little girl, you don't have to hide nothin' no more
You didn't do nothin' that hadn't been done before

Little girl thought she wouldn't get caught, you see
She thought she'd get away with goin' out on me, yeah

Other girls did it, you didn't think of nothin' new
You went out on me, so other girls did it too

You can leave, little girl, I don't want you 'round no more
If you come knockin', you won't get past my door... yeah!

You got nothin' to hide and everybody knows it's true
Too bad, little girl, it's all over for you... ha-ha-ha-ha
