Got Rooster? ;)

Well...Cockadoodledoo! I do and a few hens thrown in too! :)
Since so many of you liked my Mr. Rooster lamp in my sun porch, I thought I'd show you a few more of my dear yard birds! :)

Chickens in Chairs in artwork...

Roosters on Chairs on plates...

Silly Rooster head platter...

Very olden Rooster spice set...

Salt and Peppers from my childhood...

Just wanted to show you a few of my little yard birds!

Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I'll leave you with a little Noe Song~

With A Little Help From My Friends

What would you think if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away?
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day?
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)
No I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends

(Do you need anybody?)
I need somebody to love
(Could it be anybody?)
I want somebody to love

(Would you believe in a love at first sight?)
Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time
(What do you see when you turn out the light?)
I can't tell you, but I know it's mine
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Oh I'm going to try with a little help from my friends

(Do you need anybody?)
I just need somebody to love
(Could it be anybody?)
I want somebody to love

Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends
Oh I get high with a little help from my friends
Yes I get by with a little help from my friends
With a little help from my friends

  9. Oh wow Shelia --- Where oh where did you get those roosters and chickens on chairs pictures and plates? I have never seen them and I LOVE them!

I love chickens and roosters anyway -- but wow your collection is very impressive. I have decorative poultry lust now. . . .

And you like your steak medium? Haha -- we ended up with Bratwurst on the BBQ tonight instead of steaks - the girls invited unexpected guests so we needed MORE food fast!

Thanks -- great post, Beatles and Roosters, terrific!

  39. Hey I'm back! first of all -- Shelia, you have the most delightful blog -- I was laughing out loud at your posting about the old hotel, and about your sunroom (which by the way is just bee-yoo-tee-ful!!!).

But second . . . would it be all right with you if my talented daughter Anne used that idea of the chickens on chairs to make a few little pictures for me? Not exact copies, but using yours for inspiration. She just graduated college with a fine arts and theater design degree -- I may as well get some use out of her!

I'll understand if you don't think it's a good idea -- but I just love those pictures; don't know why but I think they are the darlingest things!
